Being a try harder doesn't pay

but losing at least 30,000xp for a win even without premium seems pretty stupid to me

Maybe he doesn’t need xp anymore and was just playing for fun? That could explain. Otherwise I’ll have to agree with you, 30k is a lot of xp.

It could absolutely be seen as shaming a single player when you title your post
“Being a try harder doesńt pay” That IS the way that I took it. In this case, he was helping his team
a great deal by killing many of the enemy at the objective, the other members of his team should have done more to help cap.
I’ve seen many veteran players fight battles just like he did and it looks like they did cap at least 3 points. If he had a more experienced team in that match he could have won with far fewer kills and might have posted a screenshot directed at you being the try hard.

no you are playing the lawyer of nothing the title is to have a laugh but I have not written in the rest of the topic a single sentence where I made fun of him, and I repeat it for the last time I simply asked myself why not he played seriously because he didn’t conquer an area and was just killing people outside, but if it bothers you as a player wondering why a stronger player deliberately conceded the victory you need to see a doctor

I need to see a doctor?
You are something else.
They capped 4 points….he had 174 kills at objectives. How many points do you think his team would have capped if he hadn’t been keeping the pressure off of his teammates while they physically capped those 4 points? I wonder how well you actually know how to play this game. This isn’t the 1st time I’ve seen weird posts/comments from you.

you’re wrong my team was in worse shape I said at least 10 times in the topic at the end, he let us win because he never attacked seriously do you want to know better than me that I was playing with it? and yes you need a doctor, I am fine that you have taken the title seriously and make a complain but if I say that it is not that type o topics and this is a battle that I should have lost, why do you insist otherwise

that’s it.

POV: the teacher said it

I think you should thank this lonely sad engineer for winning, who apparently pulled you all out by building rally points alone  (compared to other team structures build)

in the end when we were losing, and I couldn’t take it anymore (fatigue), him/she came and built a rally point, but still if the other guy played for real they would win

The Allies engineer is the real hero for sure.

Looking at the 262 kill guy. 22 deaths is a lot. Must have been totally ramboing it out without a care. It’s great to wipe out the enemy, but if you do it for nothing and keep wiping out yourself in the process every now and then, the defender wins because they have infinite respawns.

Anyway, it’s fun to analyze what actually might have happened in the match, at least for the attacking side. Here’s my take on the Axis team players, see if you agree.

#1 we already discussed.
#2 seems to be a solid if somewhat cautious player. Note really low assist ratio. That would indicate close range combat. Seems to ignore engineering.
#3 is almost certainly a bomber / fighter pilot: 8 vehicle kills. Only 8 deaths. Nearly equal assists as kills. No cap points. Does have 10 engineering points so maybe spawned some engineers in between planes?
#4, another low assist ratio, solid play, seems like the one guy who builds the rally points, so the unsung hero of the axis team. Note that this guy and #2 have no vehicle kills.
#5 is almost certainly a sniper type player. Is that a ranged master award? Only 3 squad deaths, 75 kills, low assist ratio. Definitely a sniper. Note only 1,74 kills per minute which is really not great when all you are doing is trying to kill the enemy.

Below that it’s the normal cannon fodder/bot/ragequit material with the notable exception of player at #6 of which we can’t know at which point they left. It would seem that out of the top 5 players none were really very interested in capping at all, with #2 and #4 only taking one point each and the rest of the cap points were due to the fodder/bot/ragequitters, actually contributing to the positive outcome. It’s really no surprise that even with such a kill amount the attacking team lost when top 3 out of 5 players apparently mostly ignore the objective cap in their actions.

So @gastanofrizzi does it sound correct to you?

all correct

#2 on Axis is BA player with 100 kills, who just unlocked engineers the day before the match, so likely doesn’t understand how to properly use them.
You can’t really analyze a battle from a screenshot, but this battle was, except for Axis #1, fought against an Axis team of very low level, lightly equipped humans and bot squads.

Well, I could analyze the menu of a restaurant by inspecting the droppings of the patrons, but the end result might not be completely reliable.

I think the same applies here, for sure it will not be perfect, nevertheless it’s easy to see certain things, like the Pilot and the Sniper playstyles, plus trivially that the higher scoring players didn’t bother with the caps much.

Honestly I have no idea what is BA so please educate me.
