They already have jets and post war stuff in BR5, by separating it from the other BRs the devs could add more crazy stuff.

Yep, exactly. By making BR5 its own thing with no up or down tier they can go absolutely hog wild with it and even dip into some Korean War era stuff.
The big advantage would be people would be able to play BR4 equipment without fear of being teleported into an episode of Forgotten Weapons. Right now I never play BR4 equipment outside of when I prefer it over BR5 just because 95% percent of the time I get up tiered with a straight BR4 list.
and separate br4 from br3 so br4 is not just down tiered to fight br3

Both require UI changes, database changes, testing and releasing… if I was to guess, the number changes would mean marketing was incorrect

So the “Gray 6” does not refer to the gray plane itself? Is it supposed to be a gray-plane-from-air-division-number-6 or something like that?

We also need a brand new Event very much alongside the existing Event, to unlock SILVER and COSMETIC POINTS.
In the past there was usually a simple Match Score (10.000 or 20.000) Event, and alongside, an event with actual missions (40 kills with vehicle, 40 kills with artillery, Spawns on tour APC’s/ Rally Points…etc) to earn other rewards.
This existing New Year’s Event only unlocks some weapons , but we need Silver to upgrade our weapons, armor and to change the looks of our soldiers. Kind Regards!
