Battle Pass: Fifth Season of 2026

So exactly what did he change in the updated version he posted?

Rate of Fire was buffed from 62 to 76 (and supposedly higher ADS, but that doesn’t show of the stat card).

Shot Deviation might have gone down by a fraction as well.

Welcome to every other allied/soviet BP weapon.

It is fine if they powercreep but if it is an axis weapon god forbid cause they lost the war…

@Euthymia07-live
as @LBE_FG_42_I_真主至大 just pointed out, the change does not seem to be in effect yet.
That is when you look at the “more detailed” button in the battle pass tab…

Shouldn’t they make the reload time slower by making it reloadable with stripper clips only, like all the other “big mag modifications” made by other countries on some of their rifles ?

I also saw some people complain that it didn’t have a bayonet, but I want to reassure them that this is completely normal, the rifle in question didn’t have a bayonet lug:

And yes, it was a rifle, a short rifle to be more precise, not a carbine. You can find a bit more explanations here :

That might not be necessary, as Arisaka rifles had a magazine release lever inside of the trigger guard, which perhaps could still work even with bigger Type 96 MG magazine.

vid from Forgotten weapons channel. (Mag release caused troubles for Russians when bought Arisakas were used with thick winter gloves so they had to disable them.)

Which faction is everyone playing more lately? Personally I’m enjoying the ruthlessness of enduring BR III Soviets. But I don’t like our version of Manchuria map. The current one is getting tired very quickly. But Moscow. Even thought it’s much older I don’t get tired of playing the same maps.

I “play any” but I’m BR1 on everyone except Deutsch, aka, i play BR2 for everyone except Germans where I play BR3.

Probably because the old maps are genuinely fun.
If you look at the new maps, they’re basically just pieced together from old map assets.
Longtime players like us can easily tell which parts are reused content.
Not to mention Manchuria—it doesn’t reference real geography at all.
I’ve been maining Germany lately too.

All the good Soviet gear gets dumped straight into BR4, it’s just boring. Only the US gets all the good picks—they put basically the same top-tier stuff at BR2 or BR3 instead.

Can we expect that the Type 38 Carbine will have it’s RoF buffed to be above that of the Type 38 Rifle…?

We need this kind of armor for russians

Steam Punk xD Maybe the bear hunting armor also xD

So is the Kretz rifle, a semi auto rifle doing bolt action damage is nuts and everybody just forgot its a BR2 weapon

I have it and it’s definitely br 3 material

Well, then you should take a better look.

Here are some examples:

Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk I (T)
M1903 with grenade launcher
SMLE Mk III with Cup GL
Kar98k with GGP/40
Kar98k with grenade launcher
Type 99 with Type 2 GL
Type 38 with Type 100 GL
Mosin with Diakonov
Mosin M91/30 VPGS

There are many BAs on BR3.

They’re also worse, even more so once Type gets a buff.

I have for some time toyed with the idea of making some bolt-action rifles BR III with some modest buffs, like some used to be… this would be on top of a universal increase in BA reserve ammo to be on the same level as automatic rifles…

I don’t know if the recent buff to this thing strengthens that case (“now it has to be done”), or weakens it (“if this thing can be BR II, then so could most anything else”)…

To be fair, those bolt actions are BR3 because of the grenade launcher, not because of their bolt action stats
