Battle of Tunisia - Italian Troops with Polish AT Rifles

According to historical documents, Italian Folgore Paratroopers were equipped with Polish Maroszek Wz 35 (under the designation “Fucile Controcarri 35(P)”) when deployed in North Africa. After being captured in Poland, Germany gave to Italy 250 rifles and in 1943 the Army had 588 rifles with 3.900.000 8x107mm rounds in their inventory. After the Armistice, the Wehrmacht used them as well, calling them “PzB770(i)”.

Would honestly be nice to see the German anti tank rifle currently on Tunisia to be replaced with the Fucile Controcarri 35. Seems odd how the allies have a bolt action anti tank rifle where as the Italians don’t even though they did utilize one in ww2.

The wz.35 is also superior to almost all AT rifles in Tunisia looking at the stats. 33mm pen at 100m compared to PzB’s around 25 and Boys’s around 23. This thing can almost pen a Grant from the side. The only thing better than this on Tunisia is GrB 39. Would love to see it in the game.

would definitely love to see them as premiums.
I’m still going to shill my idea to see a mondragon squad or BP weapon, but I’m too lazy to make my own thread.

Basically, I think they’re little rushed the Tunisia campaign. And that’s sad, as I wanted it to become my main campaign. Some elements seem rushed and unfinished. I very much hope that we will receive some corrections.

Had the same feeling. We are going to Tunesia uh nice like 1 week later here cbt
