Actually, the Japanesse used quite a few types of SMGs, just not on a large scale. Possibly more than the US. The semi-autos would be the only issue.

I actually think it’s mostly a mistake, and it’s meant to say SIG1920, which is an MP18.
And those had 32r mags.

Well. Not like that they are that different plus MP34 is more or less a Austrian MP28.

I mean, in game yes, though it is a very different gun only loosely inspired by it irl.
