Best option would be m1909 benet mercie or otherwise some random prototypes like garand 1919 for br2 lmg

but the forum moderator claims weren’t ill founded.
matter of fact, when the merge tech trees were announced, the bar 1918 was nowhere to be found.
some questions were made, and awareness was brought, but we were told, it was meant to be a pacific exclusive reward.
up until people asked for it to be in the tt, and devs followed.
as for the bar at BR II.
eh…
not a huge fan of those being br II.
but i digress.

Wait by the request is not “give Allies some kind of another BR2 MG”, it’s “give iconic American MG to Allies BR2 and I don’t care about the stats”

M1909 is iconic enough even if its not known its been in service from the adoption time saw service during ww1 and some use in ww2 and in some expedition in Mexico also it can be equipped with optic which could be a very unique option for br2 also it can equip Maxim silencer

Matter of fact as far as my knowledge goes there were NO base M1918’s anywhere in WWII. They were ALL M1918A1’s or M1918A2’s, mainly A2’s.

Agreed. Id say put the m1918 at br 2 and the the m1918a1 and a2 can have 2 BR’s (br5 on plain riflemen and stays at br3 if equipped to machine gunners)
Too many BAR, too many Thompson on the same BR. One BAR and one Thompson with appropriately adjusted stats for BR2 wouldn’t hurt I think, so we can run full American weapon squads at low BR.
it is not a legacy gun, the only legacy guns in the entire game are from stalingrad, everything else that isnt event or premium can still be obtained
