True but they are not 100% reliable and the problem is that this design is flawed as hell, you have points where you oneshot the tank and then you have the rest of the models that gets 0 damage, it makes no sense.
Not 100% I definitely agree on. It is what it is though and I can definitely work with it.
I do get quite a few 1 shots though. I remember I was playing Normandy over the weekend and completely denied them any tanks for first point and 1 shot 3x Shermans and 2 shot quite a few Jumbos. I’m sure they got pretty mad

AB 41 weakspot is the ammo rack behind the lightbulb on the left side of the tank put 1 or 2 rounds in there and it will blow.
With its M61 shot APCBC it would, i will tell you even more, it could pen even front of the panther turret and it has explosive filler, but in enlisted when they take tank from war thunder and slap it in this game, they dont give you all ammo option only the stock ones that you have default in WT so you are stack with this shell
M72 shot, solid standard AP with 88mm of pen on 100m
Panzer IV has 80mm of armor and that if there are absolutly no angles, this shell barely pens that armor so no wonder it barely damages it post pen. Since we already see diffrent ammo type on some of the same model (Premium Panzer 4 with HEAT shells lol pens t-50), theres a chance that sherman will get its deserved ammo loadout
T-60 issue is that half of that tank is its engine and it eats 90% of shrapenl/shells as engines do in real life thats why Merkava tank for example has its engine infront so crew can live another day after it gets shot.
But in real life destroyed engine would be a K.O for tank, but enlisted is a game and you can magicly fixed engine within 8s. Dont expect what work in real life to work here if it would, then a turret ring shot would be always fathel for tanks, thats how for example a churchil with 57mm gun took out tiger and crew evacuated. Game is just a game and guarrante you nobody would play a tank if any critical module shot would destory it.
And when it comes to normandy the panther could easliy stay they should just change model of it, Panther A wasnt at that moment in service really, (they stopped producing that model since it was expensive as hell) A was a first version and which was at kursk mostly and died there painfully, they should give Panther D,(also know as a cheap panther) that version would have same armor and gun so people wouldnt feel cry that the panther is gun and they wasted time and maybe money, but it would be panifully slugish, even jumbo could flank it since its turret traverse speed is almost none might aswell had no turret and reverse speed is only -4 km/h. I in war thunder prefered to play panzer 4 then this version of panther which should say a lot about its preformence.

Bots at least move towards the objective. These people just camp in the spawn.
I switch from Alliance main to Axis in Tunisia today, grinding until level 9 with engineer and M1 Beretta. This is what I saw so far:

before M1 Beretta the battle feel hopeless, I cannot get close without being killed, cannot recapture the point using bolt action alone. Map with long range Axis can hold until 1000lbs bomber show up kill us all. Or they build anti-tank and anti-air turret to clear up.

Italian tank is good against tank, until M3 show up and I see all battles with them now. my tank is too slow to flank the m3. The moment I spawn, I get bombed. And it is terrible to stop enemy infantry. M3 often sit a far pick up new spawn to prevent reinforcement. They know what they are doing and Axis simply have to effective tool. No engineer unlock yet let alone CAS.

Main problem here is seem Axis is so underleveled and no MM. The balance slowly move to Alliance. there is simply no tool for Axis until later half of tech tree. There is no MG34, no Panzer mobility, no anti-tank or anti-air or even spawn point until level 9. For F2P it is a nightmare to get there, they simply move to other campaign. I see in offensive map, Axis is pick off by M3, bomb to smitten then push back to spawn point by combination of AA and turret and Lee-Lee–Enfield. No thing can do with bolt -action gun.
Weapon wise, Italian have slightly better early long range weapon and Infantry weapon overall but most are locked quite late in the tech tree. Ally has superior SMG early. It will get revert later with M1 Beretta. However, the whole balance is result from snowball effect where Alliance move up tech much faster and overwhelm Axis slightly range superiority. It is F2P game so if it is frustrated, player is simply quit making the result worse.
My conclusion is until level 9, accept your horrible fate of cannon folder. The Dev should concern about the snowball effect of no MM and Player quitting. Now, I got the engineer now so I can actually build spawn point, AT gun and AA, there is something I can actually do now so let hope next battle will get better.
As much as losing streaks suck hard, I can provide more experience supporting the “it’s players, not weapons” point.
Yesterday I happened to play the exact same match twice in a row. Invasion, Al Har (is it? The map whose first cap is in the small fort between open pink flowers fields and the rocky hill), unusually attacking as Axis. I also was squadded with two friends.
The first time, it was a HUMILIATING defeat, we didn’t even begin to cap the very first point before losing all tickets and being wiped away.
The second time, although eventually we still lost, it was a much more even match, since we at least managed to push through up to the last cap before capitulating. Brits even had a Grant this time, which they hadn’t in the previous match.
So, yes, it’s a players / tactics problem.
In your match probably only the last two squads were bots (unregistered nicknames), and even they were replacements only after teammates left with 5 and 10 squad losses… So not too early - it could have been a fair match I’d say.
That was a 5 vs 7.5 first, then a 3.1 vs 9, with Herr Führer not adding anything to the match so not counted… Well… Good luck.
(Assuming that this method is correct for checking bots.)

A Har (if you mean the map where attackers spawn on a hill and have nearly no cover to reach this small house) is a horrible attacker map anyway.
Uhhh which one? They all have 30 rounds. Thompson does more damage, yes, but its like 6.8 damage with worse spread and recoil vs 5.7 for other SMGs with better handling. The sten has 32 rounds, lanchester 32 and all Thompsons have 30
Essentially every thing you pointed out effects both sides until level 9. If the Axis had more high level players you wouldnt notice anything but thats the problem; the PLAYERS
True, that is why I call it the snowball effect. Engineer in lv9 is a mistake because it provides counter to everything, 1-2 smart players can turn the tide against 4-5 player high lv player. I manage to win more now by constantly by put up wire, ammo and spawn beacon, use AT guns against M3 and shot down planes. Yesterday, I got nearly 100 point engineer, showing that the players are there using my spawn beacon, they flank and cover the point very well, just that they have no engineer for support. However, before lv 8, no matter how smart or good you are, there is simply no tool to fight back. Many just quit before unlocking the Engineer squad.
There is no Match Making so you will be pit against mostly high-level Ally, continue to lose, delay the process more. If there is a MM, I think Axis has no problem at all.
This is accurate. I recently got engineers too so I can build rally and it helped encouraging people to defend. The run from main spawn is too far and they just give up and camp a building instead of running to objective. I also figured out a good workaround to getting steamrolled is to desert the battle and jump into a new one, it takes only 10 seconds. 1 in 5 battles you get a more even game.
Yes it was a big mistake moving the engineer. Most free players wont ever grind to level 9 so they get frustrated and quit leaving the few who did a massive advantage
