The only reason they are using this format is to save face with the community as they know the main focus is such a disaster.
To be fair this is one person but getting any communication from them is a surprise… and leave it open but the fact the main assumption is no is very telling.

The only thing I like is the fact I can take the PPSH-41 and give it to an assault trooper instead. Just need 2 MP-41 r to complete a PPSH-41 german squad

Saboteurs are a unique class, they are great for spotting enemy tanks, rallies the only thing is they have a finite area, so if you are not careful you own side open fire, but the enemy sees this invincible soldier
They cannot be used all the time but they do have a use I like em

Also switching and dropping TNT, switching between a rally point and primary weapon, and exiting vehicles with open tops is taking a lot longer now.
Always starting with the secondary weapon with those equipped, including AT is a problem.

Actually came back to say this, really like the new event format, not being time limited on certain days is a massive massive plus, now ofc this format doesnt give the nice little extras like bonus silver or etc, but idm that at all.
Also also, thank you so much for bringing back the blue tokens, why they disappeared for a while is beyond me.

Saboteurs arent game breaking at all, and as a niche class they still work better than Riders. (Rider 2’s my beloved, give me Armoured Cars or give me death).

Can’t recall if that happened here as well.
Maybe would have left it for a bit had I known how it was intended. Seems like a silly restriction considering no other event squad functions in that same way. (The ones that I’ve tried anyways)
Change weapons for them.
I use silenced BR2/3 subs and pistols.
Now we need minievent with silenced sub and pistol for every nation’s saboteur.
And switch useless Guerrilla 5-TNT perk to Saboteurs.
