Well at least my fear of USSR vs Japs being the april fools event is proven untrue. So thats good! Have no clue what to expect, I guess we will see.

Dunno, if they add some “lore” it would be cool, but I dont put much hope if they just reycled for their teaser poster.
They aren’t zombie in the back are soldier, from left the first two are holding a shovel and a mg42, the two center one are issuing order, the last 3 just seems hold their gun

“fun fact” or rather, cringy one,
i have started integrating gold order soldiers and some of the event soldiers in some of my mods.
as long it made sense.
to name one example, i did integrated Rust in my upcoming North africa mod:
( it may not look like rust from the game,. but that’s because i actually edited somewhat his appearance to be less cartoonish. and more in line for the enivorement. so this is his face without the gas mask on )
in my case, it’s kinda… made up.
as… he was technically in berlin.
not many changes of someone manages to survive the whole north africa campaign, theoretically also the italian campaign and then be still alive to also take part in 1945 around berlin.
unless he was wounded or something.
and quite honestly i’m not sure how you would integrate said " lore " in the base game.
it’s just disconnected on so many levels. how would you even correlate the time lines? front lines etc.
definitely not from actual history.
but maybe that’s how they do it.
we’ll see.
