PPD-40 was an improvement with the higher ROF and faster reload. It used to be my main SMG in Moscow until PPSh came out replaced all the PPD-40s on my main squads.

Having to use the box mag PPSh while grinding in Berlin is a real taste test on what the PPSh has to offer once you get the drum magazine
