Are devs allowed to make a comment about wood penetration?

Are they being rework or will there be no more wood penetration mechanic in the game?

My hope is that they eventually bring wood penetration back, but take care to line the interior of certain buildings (especially objective buildings) with indestructible sandbags.

Hell, there are still places where you can get shot through concrete and brick.
