Its why my sorry ass keeps trying at Halo and BF2042 , but my 40 year old reflexs are not always up to the task.

Battlefield you say. Brokenfield I say! My last Battlefield was 5 and I only played that because I was thinking we’d have an eastern front or some Soviet toys to break out. But I’ve been bamboozled for the last time by EA, and have decided they won’t be getting anymore of my USDs until some serious change is enacted, and even then they probably won’t because I’ve decided to make myself a permanent fixture here. I’m already kind of biased to Gaijin to begin with, because I love me some Warthunder. This, coupled with my magnetism to anything eastern front related and furthermore, the PPSh, and…well…I dont intend on leaving Enlisted so long as there are servers to play on. I definitely look forward to the future for what the devs have in store for us.
This is something I have to work on, sometimes I forget there are new players trying to find their way and I lose my patience.
Actually, PTRD and PTRS are fairly good and can kill a tank after 1-2 well placed shots. The main issue are BOYS, PzB-38 and PzB-39 rifles being garbage
We all have to remember that. I know when I go into battle there could be rookies, and I do not get frustrated at the players trying to learn.
I was there once too.
We understand that game balance is due 80% to player population and 20% to weapons/vehicles. We saw that when population changes in a campaign (due to updates) win rate for each faction can change radically. So, only way to assure balance is giving good content to both factions. At the moment, for instance, in Tunisia there are dull weapons and horrible uniforms/ equipment for Axis (e.g. Italian soldiers have German uniforms, helmets and equipment) as well as mixed German/Italian squads, which are nonsense, so there is little incentive to play Axis, and Allied win rate is very high.
I was talking about the new campaign level AT grenade launcher rifles, not the AT rifles. I thought the new gls were lazy additions.
I have no issue with AT rifles.
Player count in each campaign is definitely a factor.
Only thing is that I’ve never even considered weapons and vehicles even slightly a part of the balance, although I may be wrong in that regard.
I just expect people to learn to counter them with what they have.
Everyone wants to see/try out all the new toys.
I have to agree with OP for the most part. Tactics and overall strategy wins games, to a degree.
In reality: equipment < matchmaker
