But usually, planes have more than enough time to drop their load before the AA gun shoot them down. And in that case, the pilot can then just spawn another plane and bomb again before being shot down again. It’s like a cycle and killing planes with AA after they dropped their bombs/rockets might sometimes be a waste of time (from my point of view at least)
Depends on game mode. If its invasion/defenders its rigged…but any other game mode that plane lost is instant 12 tickets…unless its a HVAR rocket plane they arent likely to trade that value…not even close…if the pilot wants to be accurate, he wont drop until after 250 meters…AA has a looooong time to fuck that up.
Anyway AA was an ofshoot. I was mainly Refering to indicators in air combat
Obviously i am in favor of airfields to change the dynamics of CAS…but IMO AA is completely 1 sided…op by nature
The lead indicator is delayed. If you have high ping you have to correct even more.
Also, it’s not a static offset - sometimes you have to shoot ahead of the indicator, sometimes you have to shoot behind the indicator, depending on what the plane is doing
For bombers I wouldn’t mag dump but just tap them 2-3 times to get a feel which offset works
You gotta get a feel for it. Its not really inconsistent - if the plane is diving, it’s accelerating, therefore you have to lead it slightly more, if it’s zooming up, it will be slowing down, so you need to adjust slightly to the back. Same with turning
