2 different allied premium squads I think. I am in favor of the damage staying the same not because I am ignorant to clear allied bias, but because I think BR4 semis in general should be a bit stronger.
But they’re not stronger at the moment. And the difference in damage shouldn’t be that significant. Especially with a less powerful cartridge.

I may have made a mistake with the initial and upgraded damage values. However, this does not change the fact that this rifle has an extremely high damage output.
No rifles have a damage of 16.8. They have a damage of around 15.

The weapons in Group A and Group B can both reside in BR 3. Hell, they already do, just look at the SVT-38.
Or, perhaps a crazy take, the 10 round stripper clips COULD possibly go down to BR 2, so long as their reload speeds were 5-6 seconds. They would become more opportunistic, since their overall damage output is still limited by their reload speed. They could function identically to current BR 2 semi-autos by only reloading 5 rounds in a similar time to other BR 2 semi-autos, or risk the longer reload for a higher reward of 10 rounds.
Another fun consideration: a lot of semi-autos feel crappy to use because they have a stat called Extra Deviation Tao that is really poor. EDT is a stat that affects how long it takes for your accuracy to change between hipfire and ADS. Most semi-autos have a 0.1 + 0.3 ADS accuracy delay, but the SVT-38 has 0.1 + 0.15. Evo explains it in further detail in her video on the Event Fight event:
We could just give most semi-autos and EDT of 0.1, but keep the 0.3 for 10 round stripper clip semi-autos, in addition to the slow overall reload?
Group B could also stay at BR 3, but get the EDT buffs instead of the mag-fed semi-autos (meaning SVT-38 gets it changed to 0.3 as well, maybe have it’s damage buffed to 12.7/15.3).

no they wont the svt-38 being it the same br does dont mean it functions. the svt-38 dominate and needs to be stripper clip fed. the svt-38 is identical to the 40 and needs to be moved up to br4. group a have the same mag size or greater than group b and reload faster. there just better versions of group b in every way.
what about the garand if the garand and g43 have the same reload but the g43 reloads 10 bullets its better. not only that but the us would be the only faction without a br3 sa 10 round magazine fed gun. the faction that was the only in ww2 to nearly universally army its men with sa rifles.
damage is meaningless unless it changes how man bullets to down/kill an enemy soldier. the g43 and garand both do it in one make damage buffs meaningless. as for aim down sites it only works for the first kill as most people stay ads while gunning down an entire squad.
so unless you can point to an actual advantage of group p group a is just better. yes you pointed out that group b besides the garand can be made bad enough to go to br2. but not why that group b is good enough to stay at br3 if br4 is moved to br3.

It seems kinda strange, this weapon is pretty old and only now i see ppl (or just you) saying that its op i guess, i mean where were you several years (?) back when this weapon was introduced?
But other things aside, i like what other guy said, that F-H should be an example for other br4 semi-auto weapons.

Dispersion is not the same as EDT. PPSh-41 Box was 0.21, now it’s in-line with the BR 5 PPSh-41.

The germans have the pavesi svt at 15.6 damage (literally higher than any other SA in game outside of the hill and smle. Does the hill’s +1 damage really upset you this much to make a rant about it? A person can only own 5 of them max after this event, and you can own more pavesi svts than that currently. I’m also pretty sure not many people got the hill in BP because of so many other better options. Have you ever even been killed by one before? Pretty sure I’ve only seen 1 in the wild and the ones i did buy have now sat in storage for like a year.
