its basically what this game has become. its high level people that play together to stomp and steamroll soloplayers
does mechwarrior online have bots to fill up teams so that squads can play together? Enlisted is good in this way, people that want to play together can play against other squads and bots, but not solo players.

They just look silly or childish to me. They remind me back in the days, when kids thought it was “cool” to surround names with “x”, such as xXxVegeta1234xXx…

theyre often at top of the scoreboard. bunny hopping ppsh teens with xxlordxx names look very silly but they get many kills and are quick to join squads, clans and switch teams for easy wins
yeah, it’s true there’s more kids nowadays since the last old gen console merge… Thankfully, most are starting to play well! (at last). I’d just remove the option to bunny hop and shoot entirely, or bunny hop multiple times with a knife in hand thinking it helps avoiding fire. THAT looks silly, even more so than those new name doodles from last event…

Ok so on the topic of bunny hoping, do people actually find that it makes the ones doing it a harder target? Usually I just go “Oh hey, I know exactly where you’ll be in a quarter second, POP!”, or alternatively, with rapid fire weapons you just fill the area with death and hit them anyway. Seems to just be a good way to burn stamina and make yourself an obvious target more than anything else, especially compared to people who spam stance changes between each shot.
I don’t think it helps much in Enlisted tbh. BUT! I hate those doing it because they look absolutely retarded doing so, and it breaks the lil amount of realism and immersion the game has left.
dont think you will if you quit out of every game the instant it seems like you might lose

bunny hopping works, it makes you move faster
Ok but it also loudly broadcasts “Look here! This one is the human player, and thus the most important target! Shoot me as I move in a highly predictable fashion!”. Bonus points when people do it when they’re trying to det pack a tank. Like, whatever advantage it may confer, outside of very close range against bolt actions, in my experiance it tends to make the ones doing it less dangerous, rather than the opposite.

It doesn’t. You even lose a lot of stamina stupidly hopping around, wich will force you to walk the rest of the way.
probably deserted 8 games today because I was facing squads. got some easy alliance wins though, didn’t have to desert a single alliance game

This game already got reputation for being the most unbalanced game of all time. Big part of it is that high level players unite into squads against newbies and solo players.
please fix it with simple option to not play solo against premade squads
Fighting until the bitter end is how one gets better.
I can count the number of times I’ve both won and lost with seconds to spare.
You can only sharpen a knife on something harder afterall.

Sorry I dont rant usually, but seriously, grow up.
Its a team game. Team game means that we are going to bring friends.
I have played independent but had good (abeit low level players) absolutely stone wall squads.
MM can be partially to blame at times, but this is a game of teamwork, and you better believe ill bring a friend to better my odds. It doesn’t mean an auto win. But it makes it better to have someone on comms, especially when 8 of my other team mates are bots.
You leaving is akin to a kid stomping his feet for not getting his way.

i would suggest, try another Game really. Deserteurs should be shot.

DESERTEURS SHOULD BE SHOT 
- You cant possibly know if people are playing in a team or solo.
- What you asking for is to split the playerbase even more resulting in longer queues and more bots.
- A lot of people here despise deserters (not those who leave in the first seconds because they dont want to play this map but those who leave cause “I need to win, my team sucks”) myself included.
- We have 4 campaings so if you are not happy with the current state of Axis in Berlin change it or bring people to play with.
P.S. I did not like the option to team up when I started playing Enlisted but I do appreciate it now cause it guarantees what you will not be the only one playing on your team and you will less likely put your chair on fire…
