Id like to see way more fog and hard to see nighttime
Just lightned up by explosions/fires/lamps
Maybe even a campaign with heavy smoke so u cant see more than 3 meters
Guess it will be a bot fight tho…

Berlin at night would be really cool for infantry but would probably be absolute hell for tankers as it’d be harder to see the burned out tanks on the road, not saying I don’t want to see this but it has its pros and cons.
So you want maps where you can’t see anyone? Why? For one the bot’s will still be able to see you through the smoke and the darkness of night. I’d leave every map like that . Not only that, in some buildings you can’t see much in daylight, imagine fighting there when you can’t see a thing.
For variety.
The maps don’t have to be pitch black. There can be light sources/fires built into the map that can illuminate pockets and small areas.
Maybe also create/implement flare guns/throwable flares into infantry inventory, and radioman flare/illumination support.
I would love a sandstorm in Tunisia campaign at dawn with sun rising clearing the view just a little. Every soldiers wearing goggle and cloth as mask
And here I am, being (sometimes) frustrated of getting killed through bushes in Tunisia and the Pacific.
That is a GREAT idea.
Also, that would mean less fun for airplanes and tanks, favoring infantry for once.
Not every single map need to be a buffet for the tankers/ airplanes.
We need that too, in the real WWII bad weather blocked the visibility for the air force to operate so many times…
I strongly agree.
Transitioning days would be cool. If a map starts in the afternoon and the match is long, it should transition into the night. Vice versa night maps transitioning to dusk/early morning, morning to noon. Same would apply to weather, some conditions constant and others dynamic
less strong =/= less fun
considering what one of the updates did to the lighting to the point that some points in Pacific are stupidly dark under certain conditions that only a certain gifted category of players equipping everyone with M2 carbines is capable of seeing through, I would like to vote against nighttime maps.
Fog? well, judging by some winter maps in Moscow with a heavy blizzard going on, it would definitely hamper the performance of the tanks and planes, but its not as blinding as the darkness, so I dont mind it.
for foggy battles or night ones,we need flashlights first, or you won’t be able to see a shit, if we have already issues with inside areas in certain maps, first we need add flashlights, for that, join to my post and give it a tumb up for add them!
Heroes and Generals had amazing weather variation for their maps.
Playing the same map ar night felt completely different than during the day.
And thick fog required different tactics altogether.
Id also like to point out that playing in nighttime could be fun for sneaking up on enemies and actually get some use from my melee weapons ala shovel
IF ai bots are nightblinded that is
Imagine running into a point in pacific using axis and just do some ninja stuff
