I was about to detonate a tank, but instead it was just heavily damaged and on fire, then some enemy machine gunner pinned me to ground. I was at around 20-40% health by the time I crawled next to the burning tank, which was then detonated by someone else.
Then I received the message X.Y. eventually teamkilled you. But not! I was going to die in next 3 seconds anyway due to that machine gun, as the tank was not a proper cover. My teammate was just nice enough to finish my job. (OK I can’t be sure that was a bomb or a shot but still.)
Can we please have an option to determine whether we wish to punish our team members or not for a teamkill?

multiple times i’m getting killed in berlin and i can’t really blain my friendly considering that i’m coming from the enemy spawn, and plus, the lightning does not help to recognize playermodels.
as such, i don’t want and see why friendly shuld be kicked for my fault, for lightning fault, or accident.
like, everyone makes mistakes, and the players should be able to forgive who got tkd ( if they want to ).

I totally agree. Plus, this should go hand-in-hand with bringing back text chat and quickchat options.
I did not use chat that much, being quite inconvenient. But totally agree it’s necessary.
I really wish to make it possible to talk to others next to me, so our “joint operations” go better, with the option that they can immediately mute me. But proximity voice chat is a different suggestion and probably waaay harder to put back than text chat. 
I generally don’t expect people to communicate in any form in this game, so with text chat I can at least give them information or ask for marks.
or just remove the terrible new LF game mode and revert back to the old one.
