I like the idea premium squads having slots for some regular soldiers. This way you could have engineer building rally point and supplying ammunition for your team. Or having a soldier for academy leveling purposes. Maby increase the squad size to 5.
But I strongly disagree that the premium squads being trash. lmg and smg elite squads can mow down enemy resources quite easily, and this is a concern if we make premium squads too strong. If these elite squads are made too powerful the “free to play” players will just stop playing the game and lets face it. playing against ai soldiers is not fun.

Not really the case. A 7 man assault team has 4 assaulters who can be max level, can have better weapons (Thompson beats M2 hyde all day) and has the addition of engineers, AT etc. The premium squads are over shadowed very quickly. Anything a premium SMG squad can do a free squad can do better and be more flexible and let’s not forget the free squads can bring a machine gunner so they have even MORE fire power

Also currently sold LMG premium squads have 4 star soldiers that have worse stats then regular 4star gunners

the premium squads are garbage compared to regular squads. largely thanks to people complaining endlessly that it was the sole reason they suck at the game. months later and nerfs later they still suck, they’ve just moved on to complaining about different things.
