These two I can get behind. I would like to see a Commonwealth v Japan mission based on the siege of Hong Kong. Where the Indian infantry held out for days before finally surrendering.
This would just be a copy + paste of Moscow for the Red army.
Which would be a shame, also, most of the finnish weapons of this period are Mosin Nagant variant, albiet better. Suomi SMGs are obviously very good. The Finnish didn’t have much armor and even less capable fighter aircraft.
It would be a good campaign, but it would be fairly one sided pretty quickly on.
The germans didn’t really start backing the finnish until the continuation war.
I would love to see the French army of 1940. There is a pretty good selection of weapons, the B.E.F could also throw in some good troops and armor.
Germans again would be a copy and paste of Moscow, which may put off players.
These two are just going to be exact copy and pastes of Normany.
I don’t want to see these. Normandy is bad enough, i don’t want to see two more.
What about the Invasion of Poland in 1939?
You can have the Soviet and German forces on one side and the Polish Army on the other side.
A mix of German and Soviet early war gear on one team against the polish army on the other.
Historically, yes they didn’t fight alongside each other, but in the battles for Warsaw they would have been close enough that it could have happened.
Or you could have the Italian French fighting in The South of France in 1940, the Grecco-Italian campaign (That italy lost), the japanese invasion of the Chinese mainland, invasion of Norway.
