⭐ About the new progression and matchmaking

Yesterday I finished maxing out my last campaign.

The timing is too perfect, it’s like the dev were waiting for me to finish my grind before changing everything.

But that games don’t rely on unlocks as much as enlisted.
Smurfs here would be stooopid since one would waste time on a second account and not getting their one fully maxed every time they play

This!
I don’t want to play soley against tryhards just because I have been playing for a while

Premium squads here i come i bet they will have lower BR/MMR than f2p stuff so you will still be able to destroy newbs constantly.

Is it fair))) or (((fair)))?

In all seriousness though I just want to have the chance of matchmaking out of the top tier full auto spam in this update

If you change the matchmaking system can you please add a filter for maps. I hate some maps with a passion and I don’t want to lose a 200% Exp bonus just because I was unlucky with matchmaking

There are plans. We’ll tell you in the second devblog.

“No wipe” but at the same time making most of the past progress irrelevant

???
All the stuff you have will stay unlocked despite the transition to a research tree with branches
Meaning you get a massive headstart
Especially since with a branching tree they can add new things in the middle instead of at the ass end of the entire campaign

The tech tree is a good idea, but mixing the campaigns is not. Aside from how bullshit it will be to get a Moscow map with full Berlin gear what is going to happen to all our gear, customization and progress? @1942786 ? i have 4 different German Assault 3 squads but they have different squad upgrades for each campaign for example my berlin squad has an AT slot while in Moscow and Stalingrad i have an MG slot will their squad upgrades be reset? Each soldier will get different customization slots for each type of historical battle but what about our old soldiers? did we just waste our money? max lvl people will have a lot of leftover max leveled trooper where they wasted resources and even real money. What about Italian and British soldiers?

if i had maxed 3 campaigns as germany, its now the same as if i only maxed one. So this progress is wiped. Same with equipment. I dont need to have 9 SMG squads when i only can bring 4-6 anyway. So this makes these things irrelevant dont you think?

agree. I spent many gold on the slots for Different campaigns.

Damn bro that sounds harsh! THREE whole Germutt campaigns?
I’ve finished both sides in Moscow, Normandy, Berlin, and Stalingrad
But still no, we’ll retain the stuff from each campaign unlocked and available for purchase when the update drops
That’s still a big boon compared to a wipe at this point

Just ONE QUESTION FOX,

i will not loose anything that aleardy unlocked in the old techtree?

because if so, to me IS EVERTHIGN ok.

I worked my ass off in some campaigns to reach high lvls or max so i should have advantage and with gear based mmr i shouldn’t play against you with low lvl equipment

This is either going to be really cool, or a complete Clusterf**k of the game.

Time will tell.

its a good way to shit on you existing player base i guess. They always said there would be no wipes. So you cant tell me that this is better. You could simply have left the system untouched and made the progress faster.

How many separate Axis nations will there be at launch?
You said no Italy and No United Kingdom having their own trees.
Does that mean there will be only Germany and Japan. Or will there be two Germany’s one against US one against USSR. If there will be only one Germany, how will the game handle the lack of a US heavy tank comparable to the Tiger II, lack of a semi auto rifle comparable to the FG-42 II, and lack of an StG-44 equivalent?
