1-2 million per chest cycle. Lots of good stuff but a lot of crap on top of it. Honestly, I have found it more useful to build out one of the 350+ native squads the game has. This is the first time I have had under 100k silver in years, But, I have also been able to create 2 Nations with 4 BR’s and 2 with 3 BR’s fully equipped, highest tier, all 3 star. That takes so many millions min 100k to build out a squad but more like 150k the top tier stuff like 7 man bomber is almost 300k.

Yeah, they are, but unfortunately i mainly play germany and Japan, haha. I’ve used the ussr paras once since i got them.
I have just the Ami Paras get in one event!
I think it varies on luck. I don’t feed the mystery box much, but last year I dropped 5,000 and won a tank on my first try, then won a squad and another tank while only investing maybe another 20k in silver. Then I walked away. 
I am sure I am in the minority winning with that little invested. I think in total, I have tried the mystery box maybe 7 or 8 times total since it was introduced.

if you have to ask, then i recommend not buying them. i would recommend that you first grind all factions, then equip multiple squads for different BR, min max squads and upgrade weapons and vehicles. gambling comes after you have equipped everything that you want to play and then you just sink all silver into it without thinking if you are gonna get something good or not.

I learned after millions spent that this is the better option by far.
Damn thats pretty unlucky in the last 2 boxes i spend about 1.5mil and 1.8 mil and got around 10 squads from both. I still remember the first 3 pulls of the Hidden Threat update being 1k silver, a gun and a squad XD
Statistics show the more you buy the left likely you are to win tbf then for me getting a Mas-38 smg from it is like statistically low like LOW last I checked it was 0.number
I did grind most factions allready fully.
The first tank I won was the Soviet T34 BR5 tank followed by an Allied BR3 Sherman if I remember correct, but I don’t remember which one. The squad I can’t remember either. My memory is terrible.
