Wait until you get Grant. Just let the AB14 shoot at you and laugh while he can’t do crap. There is nowhere it can pen Grant.

Lol, your best chance is to equip your tank crew with TNT and use your superior mobility to get close enough to jump out and toss the TNT…/s

Stop over-relying on pen indicators and you’ll go a long way.
Green doesn’t guarantee a pen, red doesn’t guarantee a nonpen, and the marker getting caught up on an obstacle doesn’t mean you’ll even hit that obstacle.

Green certainly doens’t guarantee a penetration - that is hte whole point.

IRL The 2 Pdr could penetrate the 8mm of the AB at 2000 meters at 60 degree slope, 3000m if vertical.

In this game it struggles at 100m - and it is not the lack of APHE - it is that it does not penetrate - you hit the driver head on when it is moving anf it suffers nothing, you hit the ammo side on - nothing.

Now admitedly I’m in hte Grant now, and the 37mm is almost as bad but noticeably better.

But the 75mm has the same problem with all the Axis tanks - it should penetrate all of htem relatively easily, but it doesn’t - the 75 is WORSE vs the AB than the 37!! It does seem to do better vs the M14 tho.

Inconsistant, inaccurate, and infuriating!

I think another problem that’s going on is they messed with pen values again.

I have been playing the Tunisian campaign since the open beta came out and have noticed that currently the AB 41s are almost indestructible (I use the Daimler and A13 tanks, both of which use the same 40mm qf2 pounder cannon)

I fired over 15 armor-piercing rounds from the daimler today (all with green sights) until I ran out of ammo and couldn’t destroy it.
On the other hand, the AB41 hits me 1 or 2 multi-shot bursts with its 20mm lower barrel and in 5 seconds it destroys me as if my tank were made of cardboard.

I do not understand what happens, if it is a bug in the game, or if the vehicles were improved in an exaggerated way or there is some other type of balance on the fly that the player cannot predict

for me all models are brocken. 7.7mm instakills my 202 and then i use my 20mm 100+ shoots and no damage. for tanks shoot the side of a a13 nothing next shoot there i cant pen him instakill.
