The cost would be the secondary concern, but as one of those mediocre players (at best, never really scored above 5000 so far): I was born before the fast tech did set in. Most younger ones do NOT invest half the patience, even, when they could. Enlisted lost players to cater to some self-celebrating pseudo-elite, who worship score above teamwork & actually reaching the objectives. Plus: Chores are not gaming, nor entertainment.
I wouldn’t say it’s rare. I get 10k+ every third match or so, it feels, and I’m not sweating out of my mind with body armor or meta guns.
