Right, some ZKs probably found their way into German hands after the Slovak uprising in 1944 from Slovakian inventory.

For me personally, it’s ZK > MP35 > Beretta.

Not judging by stats tho, just vibes.

But I really don’t enjoy those BR3 tech tree German smgs much overall. And prefer to use weapons such as TZ or MP41r (I am happy owner of 5 pieces) instead.

I prefer my MP40 but due to having to deal with Soviets I feel pushed into using the ZK.
That being said… The ZK is pretty nice. Although I tend to dump way too much ammo at targets…

I prefer using the Beretta M38. Nice recoil, clean sights, 40 rounds (30 round mags feel off when using 32 mags the entire German tech tree until that point). I still use it into BR IV, as I haven’t unlocked the Kiraly yet, and it still works fine (until the AS44 comes along . . .)

I probably won’t use the Kiraly anyway until a Hungarian assault squad is released.

Well, I have to diagree. For me, it goes this way.

Beretta M38 > MP35 > ZK 383

For me, something just felt off about the ZK, and no one wants to use something they’re not comfortable with using. I put it down to the sights being slightly cramped, and the 30-round mag when for most of the tech tree German SMGs are 32 rounds.

I used the MP40 for a while in BR III while I was grinding the MP35 (also not a terrible weapon - it needs more love), and it was honestly surprising how effective it was. And all my weapons are unupgraded too, so they’re even less effective.

Highly recommend trying them at 3 stars, you might change your mind, they handle so so differently.

Zk has better dps and accuracy - Beretta has a bigger mag but also isnt that bad dps wise.

I usually give my assaulters MP41r (I already own 4) and the rest get ZK - while my medics and tank crew get Beretta for less ammo consumption.
