as much women did served to a very minor number in the volkssturm, and flak artilleries of the luftwaffe, it wouldn’t translate very well inside enlisted.
because you’d see them in others campaigns where it shouldn’t and it would be weird.

there’s not really a " diversity " or " inclusion " needed.
if anything, but yet controversial, a single gold order soldier would do which would limit artificially it’s appearance. with a system ( which can be done through mods ) the face and voice will change if those are not over berlin.
but foundamental line is,
for the soviet union, it’s fine.
for other nations, not so much. because it’s more walking the world of fairy tales. and not reality / being realistic.
however, i would like to see a volkssturm squad with these flamethrowers. ( males. )
because volkssturms are love, volkssturms are life.
A fair post but considering we cant even get Commonwealth uniforms for men in game I cant see them adding female soldiers any time soon.
Im okay with female soldiers for USSR but yeah other countries no. They may decide to add Resistance fighters/partisans as premium squads later in which case Id be fine with females in those.
I would say if you genuinely want ‘diversity’ in game then we need to recognise World War Two as a WORLD war.
You want non-white races in game? Fine no worries, just add British Indian squads who should be in the game anyway and add ‘Indian’ faces to appearance.
Likewise New Zealand uniforms should be added with a Maori premium squad. Note I argue premium not because I want our Indigenous Kiwi mates locked behind a paywall but because to be honest they deserve to be considered an elite squad.
Im reading about the Fallschirmjager at the moment and at Monte Cassino for example a German paratrooper (who were considered elite) recorded in his diary the bravery and tenacity of the “coloured New Zealanders” by which he meant Maori.
When it comes to USA historically units were segregated. I believe we have the Tuskegee Airmen as premiums. Personally I wouldnt care if they added African-Americans as appearance option.
As long as it makes sense and is for the purpose of gaining recognition for veterans of all the Allied countries (rather than just ticking some DEI box), I support it.
