We still don’t know if he even meant all of those problems. There is a chance that they will work on bunnyhopping and suicide bombers while ignoring SF rifles…

But they announced developer stream on Thursday, so maybe we will get some answers finally if they will care enough to answer more than few, chosen questions.

At least it can;t get worse than it is rn XD

Well, it always can get worse. But hopefully it will not.

Let me just drop this:

Bunny hopping, suicide bombing, gray zone camping - free.

SF rifles - very expensive in terms of time / resources / real money to achieve.

Imagine if you (yes, I mean YOU) finally unlock that one particular rifle you love and have been grinding for weeks or months, and spend most or all of the silver you’ve been purposefully saving to buy enough to equip all of your soldiers, because you’re allowed to, and also deplete all your bronze to upgrade them.

Then, the next day, the Devs proudly announce that “answering to popular request” said rifle is now restricted to max 1 per squad or such. How’d you like it?

And remember: I’m not talking about this happening to “evil FG42 spammers”, I’m talking about this happening to YOU and the weapon(s) YOU like and spent YOUR resources on.

When was the last time?

I believe it was another of the update related comments, but I couldn´t find it anymore.
It is possible that I just connected it to a comment to something a bit different.

I’ll answer you from my personal perspective.

Let’s say I’m a huge fan of the infamous FG42, the elite machine gun that was equipped by badass fallshrimjagger units that were concidered elite.
I would be pissed off that my super duper elite weapon can be equipped by every volkssturm pleb. I’d like it to be at least somewhat elite (like being very late to unlock), like it was in real life.

But that’s me case.

Well, it would be wierd to restrict bolt action rifles to one soldier per squad…

Those are the majority of weapons I have equipped. Add to that one semi auto rifle per squad, like Gewehr 43 and 1-2 special soldiers like flamethrowers, LMGs etc, which are already restricted accordingly to their class.

Do you really think that is the same case like rare, full auto rifles handed to literally every soldier on the battlefield?

And if investing time and money would be an argument against changing something then where is my compensation for all soldiers lost to the Academy? All the time and effort “wasted” in the old system… Where are those “great” 7 LMG and 7 SMG premium squads from CBT that people paid for? Oh, and all the time we “wasted” in CBT to have our progress wiped when entering OBT. …

They are not here because the game needs to change in order to get better. And people who purposefully adapt fully to the current meta should accept that said meta can change with time.

You missed my main point. Leave aside history reenactment, and focus on the commercial aspect.

You, as a CUSTOMER, being allowed (if not encouraged) to spend resources into an item, with minimal restrictions.

Then, all of a sudden, the usage of said item gets DRASTICALLY restricted, and now you find yourself having wasted a large amount of resources on items that are now useless beyond any nerf, because now you just CAN’T USE THEM ANYMORE. Have fun looking at those 20+ SF rifles rotting in your inventory since you can’t equip more than, say, 5 at any given time; and thinking about the 60+ silver and HUNDREDS of bronze tickets you spent on them, now literally down the drain.

As I said already:

Some rifles, like grenade launcher ones, are already restricted to riflemen only.

Doing the same with full auto rifles would naturally limit their proliferation while leaving players freedom, since then we would choose if boosting our squads with firepower (SF rifles) OR specialists.

But if you lose something you got for free you lost nothing in the end…

Tbh I’d expect devs to do such thing.
Also devs might give time limited option to sell SF rifles for silver.

If you want to boost your squads’ firepower, use gunner or assaulter class. That’s why they exist.

The whole purpose of classes is broken in such case. There are few classes that are supposed to specialize in prowiding firepower and/or CQB: Assaulters and Gunners. They are supposed to carry automatics, naturally restircting their number on the battlefield.

Suicide bombing has the easiest fucking solution. And i am not happy because it was fixed but DF broke it.

In the beginning of OBT if you die before your bombs explode - no kills. For some reason they changed it and planes are nosediving ever since

ok lets start. bunny hop isnt problem if you cannot shoot its your problem. suicide bomb is balacing tank which sitting grey zone suicide bomb not working if tank moving. FG42 2 = AVT both are good guns little bit difference which is not play main role won or lose. AVS recoil vs ZH : ))… gunner squad both side is balanced! radio operator more tactical type more tactic more fun. grey zone campers is a campers + AI BOTS . so what we tryng to do? : )) we tryng to decrease game speed (this game is slow arleady)? or tryng to increase tank players comfort zone? or who downloaded first time this game he wants to beat everyone with kar98? … if you are low level try to play as a support itsn ot shame. all this is, one step forward two step back. better add trade markets stickers gloves suits missions and MM system add more guns to balance but this what we talking about is two steps back. 100%

Yes, this game is slow because on many maps you have to move 10m from your spawn to get shot. 10m!!! Enlisted is a walking sim!!!

Bunny hoping honestly does not bother me as players are too easy to kill.

limitations on FG42 yea fair play.

What about all the other major issues that need to be fixed though >w>

Out of all the things that need to be done these are apparently what that person wanted most…what a waste

Bunny hopping is a problem.

It’s :100: utilizing a feature to do something in no game that the mechanic is not intended to do.
