Wipe comming?

It could be like a joystic symbol near nick. Like Alpha in Greek alphabets. It means here the alpha tester, but you know I’m saying. the alpha

For $100 I technically bought the whole game like twice over, ok? So I paid my part, and I should hope for a full content on purchase. Or at least not be requested to waste my time and regrind everything from total 0.

It is very reasonable to ask - I paid for the product, and supported the development team. If you didn’t pay into it, you have a less vote.

No, you bought access to the premium packs and their contents.
You are not entitled to anything more than that.

Pure bullshit. You got your “product” - the premium squads. Nothing more, nothing less. And this isn’t some place where you can bribe your way into having more influence because you paid more.

Umm, why dont you be quiet? You are getting rude. You are the pure bullshit, not me, eh? Shouldn’t rude people like you be banned?

It is legally true - I bought the product. This will be true in courts, if it gets to that.

You bought the premium squads. You are not entitled to any more than that. That will hold up in court perfectly fine.
If you want the rest, grind for it like the rest of us.

Umm, I didn’t ask for your advice. Why don’t you stop responding to me? You don’t insult people, ok?

You insult everyone who grinds for the in-game items by saying “well I paid for it so I might as well get it for free”. It doesn’t work that way.

Also saying that because you paid more, you should have more influence, is much ruder than anything I said.

lol who do you think pays for developer salaries? Santa Claus? It’s us, customers. Freeloaders get to ride on backs of people that paid. But regardless, I wanted to let developers know that I would complain, if we get nothing on OBT. I spent a month+ of my time already on this video game. I got stuff to do. Like applying to Tesla. I’m sure we all have stuff to do.

You accused Tcat from being rude but you pretty much said that people who did not pay as much as you did should have less vote… to a person who eventually bought both moscow premium packs.
No I do not agree with that statement, no I do not agree that people who paid more should have more influence and no, I do not agree that people who paid more should have gameplay advantage other than their own experience after game is released.

Also before trying to insult “freeloaders” try to actually learn how F2P titles work.

Guys, I think that if devs gave us some weapon tickets locked until we research some levels (so the vets dont have advantage over newbies at the start of the new grindfest), then this would not be a problem. Also, who is even playing this game for grinding? If you grind for grinding instead of enjoying the game then its a problem.

It would be a problem, simply because you would then witness forum being flooded by sfh/CaptainMurika clones complaining that they did not receive double the reward since they already claimed rewards and used it to upgrade/fight.

While your suggestion may be a “gentleman solution aimed at other gentlemen,” while thinking that they are going to use it wisely. Players are definitely not like that and treating them as such is a bit naive, especially in PvP game.

Anyways, its up to devs, I dont really care if I have to start from 0 again with nothing but my premium squads.

That would actually be a fun detail, War Thunder forum follows similar pattern for those who participated in certain tests by giving small “badge” under their posts (for example I have Northern Wind and Royal Navy ones). It would probably be low effort to implement, or mark former testers like you suggested.
Alas, this is all up to developers, not really our call.

Actually, a surprising ammount of people are against the reduction/removal of progression features because then they feel they have nothing to progress towards. With the current state of the game, you should read each instance of progression in the previous sentence as grind.

Interesting. I didn’t know WT devs use this way of mark a good fellows. It will be fair for anybody at least

Beta testers of war thunder also have this: Tu-2 - War Thunder Wiki
A 5.3 bomber moved down to 4.0, while being able to carry 4x500kg bombs, just like the 5.3 version, and no other significant downgrades from the Tu-2S at 5.3.

I’m also against removing progression because progression is incentive.
Nobody would touch half of the squads and people would be quitting battles constantly were it not for progression.

Quitting when losing is definitely a concern, but I do not think it outweighs the current issues with the progression system.

A bad progression system is better than none if you ask me.

That’s something where the community is very split, me being one of the people who thinks having no progression leaves more to skill progression. If you can’t obtain a better gun, you must obtain better aim to win against your opponents.
