Wipe comming?

Expected is not “set in stone” and if developer team maintains communication with forums, we will be able to know what is going on, when and why.
Even simple “we do not know yet and here is why…” would be enough.

As tchov said, communication is the key to success… (and understanding to each other I might add)

Have you seen game forums waiting on release dates?

hopefully they don’t but if they do maybe we could get some credit for the beta testing we have done. maybe a month of multiplied points.

a full month?
we had one weekend (so 48h) from alpha to beta.

Can we at least get like 50 crates of Weapons and Recruits on OBT? Cause like it’s all wasted, and regrinding will be a punishment for us early betas. Premium squads were paid for, so of course we keep them. And getting like 50 crates each, to level your favorite side on OBT would be really nice, for people that we’ve been play testing the game for 2 months now. \

I dont really think it is a good idea as that can repulse any new players unlucky enough to try to stand a chance against former alpha and CBT testers.
The only thing I regret about the wipe is the fact that I´m going to loose my sniper Ivan Ivanov.

Just gib us unique propaganda posters that cannot be bought, and be done with it without disrupting gameplay.

Really our experience to avoid wasting progression will give us a nice head start.

That and our premiums.

It wouldnt change anything, there’s only few hundred early betas probably. We will be doing same thing, over again. Which is just annoying.

Yes you will be doing the same thing all over again, and you knew that (or should have known) going into closed beta. You made a conscious choice to start playing anyway. This doesn’t make you entitled to special privileges that go beyond what was listed in the early access pack (or whatever it’s called this time around).

So what? You bought into early access, knowing you would most likely get your progress wiped.
If you don’t like it, STOP PRE-ORDERING GAMES

No it’s not wasted - it is making the game better - WHICH IS WHAT YOU SIGNED UP TO DO!

Seconding the previous comments about getting exactly what you were told you were getting.

I didnt sign up to grind something twice, for no reason. I paid around $100 already for this game. It’s not too much to ask to request a bit of consideration. My time is valuable, I’m a software engineer at Microsoft. So I’d rather spend my time somewhere more efficiently.

I would also want something cool for us early alpha participants.
I didn’t buy prem squads but I was testing this game since September

Its not about getting something “cool”, it’s about avoiding some grind. It’s not much to ask, we all have lives, and other things we’d rather spend time on, than regrinding video games.

A nice little something would do, like 50 crates for each, or something.

Only for Closed Alpha testers tho, not those who bought premium packs

50 crates is a “little”? That is far too much by any standard.

Also, what your subjective intentions were when you joined are not really relevant since you were warned right on start that everything is subject to change and you are here to both have fun and help to make this game better.

If testers (even only alpha testers from which I´m one of them too) would receive gameplay advantage, it would completely ruin experience of new players… and what those players will do? Right… they will leave because it is not fun to log in first day after launch and face geared veterans who played the said game 6 months or more before release.

Also, many people were alpha testers originaly but eventually purchased premium packs to be able to test them or progress faster after wipe.

It make sence

They’re still alpha testers, even with premium squads

There is a reason. You pre-ordered your way into early access. If you do not like this,
THEN DO NOT PRE-ORDER GAMES
Your mistake.
