Yeah i got full decked squads both sides and it’s still pain to play.
Even gold order weapons don’t help much.
At least i can feel like in jumbo year ago with how unkillable kv-1 is.

Yeah. I got a gold order yesterday, current ones are meh imo. Went for a bremit or what ever is called on stalingrad.

Tanks are cool both sides, heat on pz3 is deadly. And the kv/t34 are based as fk.

Anyway. I like it alot, it’s personal taste ofc, but I m wasting more and more of my free hours there than ever.

yeah, but they are all paywalled apart the kv

And there’s also that.

I don’t have the free experience on the campaign, I did pre order and I would In a heartbeat again.

You choose not to do so, can you state why?
Personal reasons, money, campaign isn’t worth for you or?

Do you consider the price right for what you get content wise and time/money over fun hours provided?

2 guns for 30$, i could get 3 good games for that

I also finished all other camapaigns so will likely finish stalingrad before next battlepass anyway.

So yeah it’s not worth it

I mean literally no grind, more content and more time to focus on game and less on xp.

Not sure if they still give the flame tanks, stickers extra slots etc.

How many slots you have as free to play?

yes i dont have enough money to justify wasting 30 euro on a campaign that is basically all copy paste and maps are basically berlin 2.0

also this, there is literally nothing special or different enough in stalingrad, it just another berlin with small differences.

i already bought the season pass and premium, i dont see why i need to pay for such a small quantity of actually new content (kv1 and thats it the rest is all recycled)

maybe 10 euro, that would be a fair price.

count that i already played and mastered ALL the weapon this campaign has to offer, there is nothing appealing or new to me

I am not free to play, please stop putting everyone that didn’t bough to overpriced bundled as f2p.

I got premium and some slot bought i favourite campaigns.

Why would i need more slots for more smg spam, i don’t use more that 2 assault squads even in ppsh heaven moscow.

Also gring is no problem when you can stack 50 boosters and get 1M xp games

I guess you alone have to decide whether you play for the immersion and authenticity or “muh winrate”

If you want a proper challenge on Stalingrad then play authentic load outs, its very challenging vs the “muh winrate” crowd, but much more rewarding if you can pull it off.

Given that there is no way to accelerate anything in Stalingrad other than having tons of tickets from previous campaigns and they run out pretty quickly if you go hard early on.
So the opportunity to play reasonably authentically is there.
Minimise the SMGs to 1-2 per squad, ARs only for Squad leaders where an Assautler is not available, one MG for the Soviets per team, 2 MGs for the single German PzGren squad and the rest with bolt actions, pistols, grenades and satchel charges.
If you play Stalingrad that way, it should be fun, at least it was / is for me and I’ve maxed both factions.

Pure authentic sniper ground.
I just stay on some rooftops for whole game when i see my team won’t push.
Or laugh as they try to blow up my KV for 10th time.

But same playstyle with racing to be first to drop airstrike, then sniping or driving tanks, on same 2-3 maps gets boring quick.
I’m typing this as i’m playing Stalingrad because that’s how fast paced it is.

And let’s not joke about immersion when most fun is blasting 2 RMN-50 in 2 flamethrower squads going full scorch earth. Best stalingrad can do is airdrop that forces you to not play on map for 1 min.

I think you just answered my unasked question.

I hate to say this but I didn’t like this version of Stalingrad much and this is from someone who was a Red Orchestra 2 veteran. The lack of winter maps along with the lack of recognizable landmarks made this feel unfinished like there are only like 3 areas with the Station, Univermag Department store and the Gorky Theater but no stuff like villages near Stalingrad, Factories, the riverbanks of the Volga and even Mamayev Kurgan.

stalingrad is one of my favorite campaign above tunisia, moscow and somewhat normandy.

but unfortunately, if you do not own the pack for 30 bucks which… i wouldn’t say it’s a deal, but convenient. especially if you play other campaigns as well.

but as i said, if you don’t have it, most things are locked, and speed progession is kinda slow.

but worthed for the rest
( outside avts and mkhbs… i like them, but there are too many of them. same as explosives grenade launcher since it’s similar to berlin )

observing that berlin is in the same situation only with more landmarks, and considering that after a year only one map has been added to berlin, for stalingrad there is not much to hope

Honestly I loved that for the first time in 1000 years we didn’t get burned down, grey or snowy Stalingrad, but rather saw the initial German invasion in summer-fall 1942 when they actually fought over the Railway Station and were not yet dug in the Univermag. The next time Univermag saw major acion was when Paulus was captured there iirc so I’m glad we have this initial invasion stage.
Seriously you don’t see green/yellow trees in Stalingrad nearly enough.

However, we do need more/winter maps to showcase the scale and duration of the battle, indeed.
Someone has leaked Factory minimap that’s in the works iirc.

Red Orchestra 2 both had summer and winter maps with different uniforms which is why I mentioned this where it adds the feeling of variety there. It even had its own Railway Station map where they have more caps on just the station itself alone even more than this game.

Others include the Village of Spartanovka(summer), Pavlov’s House, Gumrak Station and airfield, Red October Factory, Barrikady factory area(Commissar’s House), Mamayev Kurgan, Grain Elevator and many more. Lots of things I missed of from RO2’s version of Stalingrad that’s mostly absent on Enlisted’s Stalingrad.
