Why is the Boys the only AT rifle you can run around with?

The PzB-38/39, GrB-39, PTRD and PTRS rifles don’t allow you to run with them out.

So, what factors in the decision to let them run?

Weight?
PzB 38 - 15.9kg
PzB 39 - 12.6kg
GrB 39 - 11.6kg
PTRD-41 - 17.3kg
PTRS-41 - 20.3kg

Except… We can sprint with the following weapons despite their weight:

Boys AT Rifle - 10.0kg
Madsen - 11.0kg
MG 13 - 13.0kg
PIAT - 15.0kg

What gives?

You forgot that AT riffles / launchers allow you to also carry rifles. You should add this weight.

And about your whole post: balance I guess. And Boys is probably a bug.

Because it’s so trash at killing vehicles compared to other AT rifles which in their own way are pretty trash but can AT LEAST kill some vehicles at the end of the day.

Having the ability to run with it it’s THE ONLY remote reason to even use it to some degree as a 1 shot main/backup boltie if you ask me.

Remove the run ability and even shotguns will become more used than it.

WTF are you talking about? If you paid attention, you would know that the AB41 gives many Allied a lot of trouble because tanks over pen it and don’t hit critical modules. With the Boys AT rifle (if you know where to aim). the AB41 is destroyed in 1-2 shots most of the time…just by knowing where the ammo racks are

Machine guns are the main weapon for MG, makes sense they dont want you slugging with it.
The AT that dont slow you down likely are buggy or they just forgot to make them consistent

Untrue, I was just in a match with the PzB-39 and you can run while carrying it just like the Boys AT rifle

You have to get within 5m to even pen a paper thin scout car and at that point might aswell throw an explosive pack.

At least in Moscow you can use the AT rifles from 25m-50m.

bruh y cant the boys at rifle pen the rear of a m1340 tonk’s turret at point blank? i dumped my entire ammo load on one and the only kill i got was when the commander peeked out of it. this was when i was TEN FEET OR LESS away from it

Also its sights are off it hits at the top of the front ring instead of at the post. You actually have to aim lower than your target to hit at distance.
