So with what logic mg42 > rd44 ?
RD44 is by far easier to control and both guns kills with 2 hits.

And if you don’t take me?
And some of my soldiers are dressed in armor

I guess I don’t agree with this. I think players would learn and adapt. We can already see it by most players flocking to the guns that shoot most accurately. PPSh box, SVT38, Breda Carcano, Fedorov (even pre damage buff) are just some examples of regularly praised guns, even the most casual pubs have realized that. They might not understand why, but those of us who are way to invested in the game know.

It would also give a reason to ever use a full auto weapon on semi auto. Can’t control recoil? Swap to semi auto and tap fire.

Because obviously 13.2 and 9.9 are two different worlds

If not, STG44 with 9.9 damage should be better than Fedorov with 12.6 damage, because 12.6 damage is not enough to knock down a 13.5hp soldier with one hit.

Every single sweatlord who prioritizes “winning” and “meta” over anything

This shit needs to be cosmetic only

This kind of applies to minority of the playerbase that actually has some sort of knowledge of the game.
Which sure, probably could adapt and overcome but im speaking of the majority of average joes that couldnt hit a broad side of barn with aimbot.

This could be introduced with dispersion as well.
Growing dispersion, each full autoshot grows dispersion → meaning longer you full auto less you hit.
And while going for semi-auto you would have minimal dispersion.

So how many people in combat have armor?

Ok, the same fight:

And

It has less damage

And it has 13.9

I’m sorry but calling people who “prioritize winning” sweatlords in a multiplayer game where the whole objective is to win is just beyond comical. If DF didn’t want one side to win, there wouldn’t be win conditions and bonuses to winning.

Full agree with it should be cosmetic tho. While we are at it, lets get rid of vitality perk too (would allow weapons to be balanced around a fixed HP pool instead of some weapons being good vs non-vit but bad vs vit)

First time i gotta disagree with You, You are ommiting the rof which compesates the low damage giving it an insanelly good TTK

What differency does it make ? Both guns require 2 hits to kill.
Doesnt really make any differency do you make 500 dmg or 20 dmg if both results in the same thing → kill.
The more damage dont magically make you more “dead”

And if you don’t take into account the battle where almost half of them are strong players and another 2+ are pros in the game

Idk maybe I’m crazy but I really care about WW2 immersion and even if DF gave me a secret -100% incoming damage 2020s Ratnik armor, I would never equip it for my Battle of Moscow soldiers same as I don’t equip this -10% body armor because it just feels and looks ridiculous and dirty.

Agreed. It’s kind of insane that daddies get to have every single soldier with 35% more health and noobs need to start without it.

Slight nuance here: down chance does factor in how much overkill damage was dealt. I believe if more than double HP is done as damage, down chance is 0 (why you will never down when shooting someone with an AT rifle).

13.9 damage can 1 shot people who do not use the vitality perk, which is a lot of people

Why shouldn’t we? Are these players special? Do they have rights to be out of balance?

Yes

This is the squad of the most popular ru youtuber on enlisted and 2 more good players

So you think Fedorov is really not as good as STG44 before increasing damage? This seems to be different from the mainstream discourse on English forums 1year ago.

Considering distance decay, your hit rate and ability to kill AI soilders in a row, 12.6 or 13.2 is indeed much stronger than 9.9, because 9.9x2 only achieved knockdown and has not yet reached 100% kill, while 12.6x2 or 13.2x2 is almost certain to cause kills.

This is particularly evident when shooting groups of enemies. Fedorov and MG42 can quickly kill a large number of enemies, reducing the risk of being counterattacked, while weapons such as STG44 and AS44 cannot do so.

And one thing I want to mention is that enemy soldiers may not be full hp in actual combat. They are likely to have been attacked by explosives, artillery, stray bullets, and other injuries. As long as they have suffered any damage, they will enter the 13.2 or 12.6 kill line, not to mention that many people may not even have a 35% hp perk. Therefore, the actual difference between 13.2 and 9.9 is really significant.

Sorry what? lol
