Why FNAB 43 Slow Rate of Fire in Game? Me Want Rate of Fire Increase and Keep it BR2 just like The Russian PPS-43

So you are going to use glue on pizza and eat one rock a day that’s ai reliability.

From this video it has 837 RPM (would be 960 with upgrades) this would instantly put it in br 3 or 4, I hope you’re aware of that

Ah yes soooo historical and perfect accurate game, Uragan has 860 and PPS 43er has 800 on BR2.
Why you dont start with Rof by 0 Stars with 680 and let 3 stars then have 850? But on BR2?!

It’s a rather interesting topic this.

personally I would like the FNAB to stay at it is, since it offers a unique gun experience (low RoF but with a high capacity mag).

However, I did some research. There were some FNAB 43s around in the 70s.
Trivia: Two of them (besides one TZ-45 actually) were used in the kidnapping of Aldo Moro, for example:
Agguato di via Fani - Wikipedia
Kidnapping and murder of Aldo Moro - Wikipedia

FNAB was also fairly common in Italian action movies from the 70s.
In some movies, they do fire it with blanks, and the RoF seems to be much higher than 400 (actually fairly close to 800ish).

From Il Boss

In Cani Arrabbiati (Rabid Dogs) a FNAB 43 with removed barrel shroud is used.

I don’t know if one can draw any conclusions based on this whatsoever, but I find it a bit interesting anyhow.

Because that’s exactly what I said. :man_shrugging:

That modern replicas of WW2 weapons are made only to be used as examples for pushing changes into enlisted.

Because there can be possibly no other reason why would anyone manufacture a replica with a higher rate of fire than the historical one.

I wonder if you just don’t understand the written word or are twisting it on purpose.

It should be increased to 550rpm at very least. But since we have too many smgs with same rpm it could be increased to 600rpm to be similar to PPS-42.

This is getting pretty ridiculous.

Are we seriously going to use a random video of a youtuber with a replica and then some movie from the 70’s as a reliable source for the rate of fire of weapons produced during WW2?

And I totally agree with you?
Just bought Lathe, press brake, milling cutter, bench drill & laser cutter to prove my point at enlisted forums.
Best ~100k ever spend, wife wasnt really happy about these new living room furnitures, but wait till she see the old bank fault I was required to purchase to store my full auto gun.

Like ? Sure I guess some murricans have made some memeburgeroid weapons but considering how rare the fnab is I doubt even murricans would go full retard with them.

Make a wild guess.

My contribution was not that serious.

However, the thing is: we don’t have any reliable sources what so ever. This gun is a mystery.

The idea of it having a low RoF (400) seems to stem from one single source, Ian Hogg’s book The Encyclopedia of Infantry Weapons of World War II.

Fnab

It seems to be a qualified guess more than anything.

I see, so the first is correct.

Well, neither is the post you’re responding to.

I was just pointing out the bizarreness of this whole thread.

All I will say is I can’t way for the day when anything below 800rof is going to be obsolete for a BR2 smg.

Golden days are indeed ahead of us.

if all your evidence is limited to one video, then the developers will do nothing. whether you like it or not. it is not me you need to convince.

I’d like to believe that.

But in that case, why did the developers decide to put the uragan in BR2 when they could have easily put it in BR3?

Is it because there were only two BR2 smg in soviet tech tree, while there is only one smg in BR3?

Ohh, wait…

dunno havent seen a single uragan video either.
Infact seems to be rather difficult to find any information about it

Same or not ? Seems to state quite bit lower rof than what we have ingame.

You mean like ppsh box ?

do it like the maretta m38a, a 40 rounder and a 20 rounder

fnab-43 had also 30 round version

WHAAAAAAAAT?! i didnt find that! if possible ill take that

capacita certucce - magazine size, they used same magazines as beretta and in Enlisted we don’t have Beretta with 30 rounds for some reason

this will make germany BRRRRRRRR again!

Because 20round memeretta was more suitable against ppsh41 drum, when it was introduced back in moscow.
