Why does nobody use voice chat?

I’ve had over 2600 battles, not once have I heard someone use the voice chat, why?

The only time I remember in game voice chat working was in Lonefighters when it was in the main queue. Also I don’t think in-game VC works unless you’re in a Squad. But tbh most people use Discord or other means of voice chat.

Voice chat is only for those in your squads, like @67177980 suggested.

But even in the same squad… most ppl use discord :person_shrugging:

I always found the in game voice chat to be too low of a volume to hear, and (at least the last time I used it) it cuts out frequently so it’s hard to understand what the other player is saying. If I’m going to talk with someone cross platform, the best way is discord.

In game voice is only within the squad and as others have mentioned Discord is just better. Come March when PS gets Discord voice (think it was March for the update) it will be even more so (XBox I believe got it last year).

I’ve heard it once. Although I turned VC off after that since I thought it was distracting. It was during the modern conflict event

i remember in cbt or early obt with console players eating on their mic for the whole match because i presume they had open mic instead of a push to talk.

so yeah… i think discord or teamspeak is somewhat better than that.
