I heard this sentence a lot: " if rifleman has not grenade launcher dont even use them".
Bolt action + infantry is enjoyable and very usefull .
Also after the bayonet charge mech + ba buff , bolt action is far more crucial.

Rifleman are just there to add “beef” to your squad. Because the AI can’t be trusted with any other weapon for fear of losing said weapon because many players learned to aim for the soldier with the different weapon than a bolt action and the grenade launcher often looks like the typical rifle the squad has, therefor increasing its survivability that way.
But even then like above, you have a minimum size to fill in squads and the normal rifleman with BA is good enough for that, i even tend to fill a squad full of Rifleman and take out the specialist for a other squad, because i leveled up that squad completly and have no use for it anymore.
depends on BA… i usually hate all BA that dont have sights like kar98k… i hate V notch sights…
Because people play for the meta, not for fun.
One of the things I like the most about the ba buff is that now I can play more “for fun”. In Berlin I replaced some squads with volkssturm and their weapons feel really lethal, not just junk that you should replace as soon as you can.

Riflemen squads is what I use the most in Pacific right now.
And they still have starter arisaka (still haven’t decided which rifle I prefer).
They’re just perfect to defend. (And riflemen squads bring more boots in cap zones)
10/10 would recommend.

Thanks to the Pacific has forced me play with thath shit of springfield and the nerfed lee-enfield 1917, i discovered a hidden love for the m1 carabine
And funny enough Everyone say jap boltie are bad, wen they are totally better than US one need only q bit of practice
I like Japanese bolties… don’t see any problem with them. 
Yup, the sights make the rifle. May the base Springfield burn in hell lol
I hated them, the sights are on par with the springfield.
