Which FOV would people like in mods? ( between 100 and 130 )

greetings players.

i’m performing somewhat of a survey, but to generally know what people would like to have in enlisted.

as a legend,
1 photo: how it would look without ads
2 photo : how it looks with just ads ( tapped once )
2 photo: how would it look when ads ( holding )
3 photo: how would look when ads + zoom

so, here is default ( 100 ):

modded 110:

modded 120:

modded 130:

let me know.
( to ideally try in mods to have something different. not a suggestion for the base game )
thanks in advance.

( the forum … tuns out kinda crops the photos and my graphic is kinda pixelated. so you’ll have to manually click the photo and scroll through at fullscreen rather than looking them on how they appear. so just tap once and scroll through. )

or, send some fov from other games that you would like.

Personally I prefer the default FOV.

I use 90 in the game, anyway, i think this should depends on how the soldier body look with the fow after 100 because from some test people showed on the forum, past 100 the camera go crazy with the soldier body

With this image i say 120 no more than that

I like 110. It’s enough to show the entire rifle minus the stock, looks good, but isn’t too much. Has a classic Red Orchestra feel to it.

120 is good
And maybe will solve us weapon sight issue

I like the original. I find myself leaning into my screen during games trying to hit the little blips that are far away.

I believe 90 is default in vanilla game.

I run 92.5 however, at least not lower than that.

100 is nice and best CQC but makes it a bit harder too see objects on distance.

For me,the larger the better.I would like to try 130 even if it sounds crazy and sometimes I adjust it to 50 dealing with snipers in game.

i had the same fears, but no clipping ( surprisingly )

well, yeah but you don’t really need 900m of distance.

as i should have specified, but it’s aimed towards pves.

where, bots don’t really engage past 100 to 200 meters unless fired upon.

and they usually hide.

so the main idea behind knowing what would people want, it’s more of a visual rather than gameplay aspect side.

( though unironically, snipers kinda do break pves as it’s somewhat meta. therefore, isn’t it good=?

PvE would be fun.
Using iron sights and trying to snipe people in PvP though…

yeah, not fun at all.

it actually would be…

if it wasn’t for trilions of limitations made on the portal, custom and the editor it self :upside_down_face:

got some mods ready, but half of the features won’t load because entities are not recognized ( despite the game relaying on those )

then i’ve got the file size issues, were on the portal it’s claimed we can upload up to 10 mb of mods ( yet those breaks after 3 ) (((even though my mods are something like, 12 mbs up to 20 in some cases. but i love doing milsims and actual matches that last somewhat longer than 5/20 mins )))

and lastly, even if i would manage to make the previous passed points work,

i’d still have to somehow get around the balancer limitator of custom matches.
like, i’d need double the ammount of players to make at least first team be able to play while the equal number sits on the second team looking at a screen.

which i’m not sure, ( as i can’t really check this out ) but i believe having players in the team 1 and 2 will make bots of team 3 and 4 ( bots team ) disappear, therefore, no reinforcements to reinforce and help the already presents bots on points ) not the end of the day, but it severely mines the flow of the battles.

otherwise, i could work some sort of double operation. where both the players of americans and germans have their own objective.

but i’m not sure how the editor will handle that, or the criteria behind.

so, the science will help me to discover it.
((( eh, i can already predict it will go out of mb size for the portal )))

i really hope in the merge will bring some desperate needed improvements as some helper hinted. but i’m not getting my hopes up.

enough with my problems, off i go trying to understand how i can use entities to make my work better and lighter.

anyway, thanks for your answer

Can’t we have just 88 FOV like true enjoyers?

88l

I do everything I can in 88, it’s simply lifestyle

I go for 110 in almost all games, if possible. More FOV is obviously better for situational awareness, but beyond 110, the warping around the screen edge becomes too strong for me.

aight- 110 it is then.

thanks for y’all partecipation.
