I earned both AN/M2 Stinger machine guns during the event. Suddenly I only have one stinger and my second was replaced with an M1903 Springfield. I wasn’t aware until I switched to the soldier who was supposed to have it equipped only to be surprised to see a bolt action rifle instead of a belt fed machine gun.
I understand there’s some controversy about the guns ammo capacity and rate of fire (Idc, its still not that good, and I will probably have an aneurysm just trying to understand the mental gymnastics it must have taken to decide on folding the iron sights down for the final gameplay configuration of the firearm) but I feel pretty ripped off just losing one of my best guns outright.
Simply make the MG42 historically accurate… and give me my Stinger back (with real iron sights), pretty please. It’s one of two LMGs that are actually capable of performing as an LMG on the U.S. and British team and the other one is the very last gun you unlock on that tech tree.
Also, I’m way too unlucky to only have one of anything. I’m a real “spawn under a rapidly descending 1,000kg bomb” kinda guy, I like to keep spares of everything.

About randomly disappearing items, you should contact support. Nobody here on forum is capable to help you with that.

You think my disappearing Stinger might be a bug? I didn’t find any info on here about the Stinger being nerfed, but I just figured it must have been. Hopefully you’re right.
Yes, it’s definitely bug. And you are not the first one experiencing it. From time to time, somebody is complaining about missing weapon or so.
And I still have both of my stingers…
So if you are 100% sure it’s missing, you should contact support.

I only got around to unlocking one Stinger. But have you check all your squads, just in case? I find it pretty easy to “lose” a weapon, only to find it on some random squad I put it in during a moment of madness/drunkeness.

I sure did. I like to stockpile all the guns and equipment that isn’t actively being used, so I go through and strip all my reserve squads each time I get a new squad. It’s nice to go through each squad and read the names of the soldiers, watching your army grow every time you earn a new squad.

I recently been searching for one of my German BR2 gold order MGs - didn’t find them - some time later found them on one of my APCs.
I have heard about disappearing equipment in the past - however I want to believe that this is just a “rumor”.

Yea there is this one time I thought I lost my lanchester model 1 but turn out it on one of my pilot the game apparently didn’t disarm him I guess?

I read the disarm is bugged, it don’t remove weapons or give weapons to the disarmed soldier, personally I don’t tested it, but maybe OP disarmed the soldier not in the line up and the stinger flipped somewhere else on another machinegunner
