In fact, there are not many axial players in the Berlin campaign. Most of the time, the alliance players are killing BOT
It is what it is. Pretty much every campaign they add will be an Allies PVE campaign because either :
A) Oh look another Kar98K for me to unlock for the 100000000th time (No one wants to grind multiple campaigns with essentially the same gear)
Or
B) Oh look these weapons are trash (Tunisia and Pacific Axis weapons are made to be weak in comparison to Allies gear for whatever reason)

I find Berlin is usually a stomp one way or the other.
Last time I had to do a task for Berlin allies my teammates were useless.
Also some Soviets complained about Berlin and if they complain, its balanced.

Axis Berlin is horrible, you lose 70% of the time. I have played 40 battle recently and never saw a single KT or Tiger. It’s just bots vs players with 100% fully upgraded gear and 122mm that kills through 5 walls.
The playerbase is the problem itself especially during major updates on which campaign and faction gets the newest, coolest toys where they just flock to the faction that gets it then atleast a week or two later, back to reality once those players unlock the new stuff. Pacific is a whole different case with Japanese once their novelty died down, its full “America Fuck Yeah” mode because the Americans finally have their campaign where they don’t get stomped by STGs, FGs and Tigers along with their desert adventures with the British in Tunisia.
If you want to “strengthen” axis according to your terms, Normandy may get the FG42 II and King Tiger along with Tunisia with the Tiger H1 or even the Mkb 42(H).
I would love a coffee seeing the likes of you in Rising Storm 2 posting threads like “PuHlEaSe StReNgTheN PaVn/NlF/nOrTh ViEtNaMeSe” or “MuRikA tOo StRoNg” with the constant whining on balance instead of trying to deal with it or form a group to balance.
Have you considered the fact that Rising Storm 2 does not have an overwhelming player advantage, where one side is full of players and the other side is full of BOT?

Why can I exchange Level 1 gold card for a mid to late tank? In the early days of the German army, there was no countermeasure other than the use of aircraft? Why did the Soviet troops have automatic rifles in the Moscow and Stalingrad campaigns, but the German troops did not?
These balance problems finally led to the sad situation that the number of players would only flow to one side. The victory rate of my Stalingrad Soviet camp was 100%. I never lost a game from level 1 to full level. Because my enemies are all BOT

Since you mentioned about Rising Storm 2 not having an overwhelming player advantage, sure none of the players are bots there but you can have an almost totally braindead team as South but they still have other offensive capabilities like napalm, spooky and helicopters which the North don’t have besides arty and tunnels that require a more competent team to maximize full potential. That besides players stacking South for better equipment and they could larp as an American GI fighting Vietcong.
Again this T-50 complaining in Moscow to no end despite T-28E and T-34 around when there are other vehicles that are a better investment with the gold card like the KV-1 and STZ in Stalingrad and Suvorov T-34-85 in Berlin that won’t be replaced by a future vehicle for the campaign unlike the T-50 where it will be replaced by better tanks when they unlock T-34.
If I’m Axis main, why would I play the worse version of my favorite faction if I can get the best Axis stuff in Normandy and Berlin? Kinda my case as Soviet why I prefer Berlin over Moscow and Stalingrad despite do play those campaigns too besides vehicle and map selection with my personal preference. This is a problem with the campaign system in general.
The issue with Stalingrad playerbase is because of the paywall where I have a separate thread regarding how to save Stalingrad campaign. Making the grind easier for less popular factions in less popular campaigns would’ve been the good motivator to get their taste of high level stuff instead of boosters where at times the game screws you over by getting a bad team, bad map and late join. Factions qualified on making the grind easier because of less popular and less strong include Moscow Axis, Normandy Allies, Tunisia Axis and Pacific Axis since Berlin have sweatlords for both Soviet and German while Stalingrad with this full access system.
Constantly complaining about Soviet automatic rifles but Germans do get assault rifles through the Mkb 42(H) anyway.
Wundergun at this point is going to be at a very high level anyway.
