I used to be of the same opinion as yourself, though recently Beel made a convincing argument that swayed my mind to it.
Of particular note here is the ability to have a separate UK vs Italy, or UK vs Japan map pools if the player numbers allow for it.

I am blessed having collected enough soldiers from Tunisia campaign to have 4 different presets of 11 squads…
But those men are not perfect stats and I’m missing a few bomber pilots.
I remember DF promised an option to switch nationality of soldiers.
A promise that as usual, DF did not keep…

Soft seperation, just as there is soft BR seperation, would be ideal.
I definetly want some battles to be more uniformed, but other times I’d like to se inter-allied co-operation, both are cool, both are wanted, both should eventually be a part of the game.

Aye that would be the dream, though sadly I do think that will remain a dream. Its a shame that gaijin seems set to abandon this, this game even now has the potential to replace the H&G itch

Note that whenever people talk about “there is enougb stuff”
- They barely make a actual TT beyond name dropping
- If they do, its either full of copy paste, not reaching BR4 and has vehicle assets that do not exist in WT.
- If copy-paste is pointed out, instead of just saying sub-TT, I get stuff like “but the Soviet”, “its historical” or “hater”.
- If it does not reach BR4, people say “We dont need BR5 for all nations”, conpletely ignoring the reality of the MM and how terrible Japan was/ is.
If player numbers allow it, we might as well get campaigns back at that point.
We are getting preffered maps, so sort of, yes.

That is not the same.
If it works like in War Thunder, you wont even be able to remove maps, just reduce their likelyhood.
And also, not the same as adding around 2.5 hard queues and five soft queues for one faction across three servers versus the ability to dislike like three modified versions of the maps.
You’re raising a false equivalence, there’s nothing bad with soft queues. No one here has yet to ask for a hard queue for either countries or maps.
Oh yeah, people love queuing against BR5 with BR3 equipment because of soft queue rules.
Except you do if you add a new faction unless you do it like War Thunder, already starts when you queue against a fixed enemy, which would be either Germany or Japan.
And since the map preference system of WT doesnt work anyways we cannot answer that one, but if you would remove certain maps, you wouldnt queue for them anyone and therefore create new unique MM requirements.
Burma update was pretty disappointing as Britain did not receive anything in a TT or even with Event it was just USA and China (i’m fine with them)

Before the soft queue rule it was worse, what is the problem? The new system is inherently better.
No one is asking for a whole new faction, we’re asking for greater autonomy of choice, let people make full British lineups if they want to! The new map system isn’t even out yet and you’re already complaining!
