So ive finally grinded myself up to Pre war Kar Sniper and realized my old Kar 98 sniper has better stats since they are fully upgraded. So even if i upgrade these ones they are going to have same stats. So whats the point unless having another sinkhole just for cosmetics ? Or am i missing something here ?

and to add…even more funny thing is that i need pre war sniper rifles to upgrade them asw. Imagine paying for all these just to find out that your old ones have the same stats ^^

It really should have been the other way around seeing as more troops were issued g98s’s k98a’s k98b’s in total more then the k98k
has i know when upgrade both guns to max lvl only diffrence is thta pre war kar have better rate of fire

The pre war K98k is definitely better. With it being upgraded and with a bolt action speed perk it can destroy.
The problem is it is on a sniper 2 squad. Meaning i have to level that squad up, which takes forever since its a higher level squad, and thats why i never grinded them up
In what way better then the regular Kar 98 ? Doesnt say it in the stats. Or you mean instead of the “DMRs” ?

In moscow can be used by all soldier and is not inferior to the winchester in stats

It is actually really good though. Not really a ‘sniper’, but works well mid and short range. You do need an ammo pack to get the most out of it though.
There is no point. It’s literally the same gun, just more expensive.

Could at least have a slight better handling or fire rate perhaps since its a more polished gun. I would have been happy with an cooler sight to but nope nothing
They do have better rof and worse iron sights but that’s irrelevant for the sniper
yeah the regular one i felt was a good choice to switch to my soldiers but the sniper was a bummer
Tbh, the least they could’ve done is just given it 15 hit power. Even the regular one makes no sense. Same gun basically, just a different wood colour.
