What was your first map you played?

For sure, i was running around, thinking i was somehow good at this, because of first few games
till i got into normal matches, and never got a 100 kills ever again.

Might have been Pokrovskye in Moscow.

Later I joined the embrace of capitalism (P38)

back in the alpha, we only had few type of missions around one map, and if i recall correctly, mine was Beloe Lake conquest in Moscow.

quite the journey from there, to here

Birch Grove

First ever?

Probably Berlin conquest Herman Goering Strasse during May test 2020.

And the earliest screenshot that survived the test of time is this from 15 April 2021:

The invasione map of the Village behind the monastery in moscow, as german

My first match was Gorge (destruction) - Allied offence.
My second match was Al Har - Axis defence.

Playtest map that I don’t think I’ve ever seen since - Moscow tech, and looked at least a bit like Birch Grove - may have been a version of it??

I seem to recall that it was a Normandy D-Day CBT.
I was using an anti-tank gun that someone had set up on a hill to attack a group of Germans that were much further away.

The PPK-41 and MP41 were treated like today’s STG44 full stacks because they were not in four-man squads as they are now, but in the same configuration as a regular squad.
The other thing was that the mortars could be reloaded semi-permanently with ammo boxes back then, so I and everyone else was spamming.
