YES, we need this.
I just noticed you can ping items on the ground. It highlights them and puts text up. FG 42 here

its in the normal game too, I’ve been shooting arms off more lately

Bots seem to take way better cover, even if its slightly away from your order marker. They also stay in trenches and fire aggressively from them.
Edit to add I just blew a guys arm off at close range with a Mosin. Lore accurate
