When I heard about the Pacific campaign, I was excited to see the big news.
However, few questions still remained unanswered: Will Darkflow do something about the current progression and campaign system? Will this horizontal progression continue? Will there be enough players for six campaigns(there would be enough bots, of course)?
Do you think these systems must change? If so, what should the new system look like?
A summary of my opinion is: Change to front(East, West, North Africa, Pacific) system, make tech trees whose branch contain different types of weapon(BA, SA, SF, SMG, MG, etc). I will write my full opinion in a different post.
a main issue i see how we can do it and make sense and provide no issues like your suggestion will possible have T-34-85s, IS-2s and KTPs against BT-7s and Panzer 3Bs in the forests of moscow
A front system will lead to more historical inaccuracies, but if this system can make matches full of players and more fun gaming experience, it will be worth it.
I personally like the current campaign system and don’t mind grinding that much
They could just have all campaigns be playable in a single playlist, or as the game continues to grow with more campaigns they could make it like Western Front Playlist, Eastern Front Playlist, etc
So the alies will get B29 flying fortress of corse and japs get ther little dive bomber and torpedo bomber cause ya why not give axis a usless plane like the BF 109 G 10 lol
Historical inaccuracy is a necessary evil here.
As I’ve stated in the past I would go so far as to push for ahistorical matchups so it’s not the same teams fighting eachother all the time and skewing the playerbase.
The game always had a serious problem of players fleeing the team that’s on a losing streak and making that streak worse because of it.
what the hell do you even mean by this? also the germans get a 5 man assault squad, all have mp40s, that contains an engineer and an AT gunner which is better than the 4 man pure MG squad that the brits got
Historically accurate here, the Germans fully equipped with the fg42, and the commandos using Fedorov in Berlin, and the AVS36 and mkb42 in Stalingrad, Moscow, and the suicide precision-guided manned missiles that were widely used in WWII
and that changes my statement how?? because yeah germans has the best event squad in the entire game also that P-38 you are so worried about is a weaker version of normandy and doesn’t have any payload like the normandy version so it’s pretty much a rare sight; also showing me the lvl 3 unlocks doesn’t really prove anything for you because i can tell you that the only advantage that hurricane has over the REEEEEEEEEEEEE! is that more guns of a weaker caliber. also at lvl 12 the axis of tunisia gets a much better rifle compared to the allies
