What did the Old Volgograd (Stalingrad) sewers look like?

I do not know where to find pictures of them and all I have to go reference from are games. Does anyone have any pictures or have explored the sewers themselves?

Lmao, the first pic google found. Not very telling, but it is pretty funny.

Looks like Idubbbz before his mental crisis

Doubt you’ll find any pictures on google. You’d probably have to go to the city, scour the museums or the municipality/library, which is definitely not worth the hassle.
Here’s another reference from a movie:

This is a very interesting question, actually.
In all of my research of Stalingrad and/or experience of living with Soviet sewer systems, I’ve never seen anything like what was depicted in Enemy at the Gates and subsequent Call of Duty.

And given how those were mostly myths and legends than history, I wouldn’t be surprised if sewers in Stalingrad were no different to any other town, and didn’t look like Roman hallways.

There is plenty of reports where snipers “trekked” through sewer systems, and since none of you even appear to know what one looks like, I provided some help. I can only imagine you think they are as narrow as your toilet that is not filled with Brawndo. The extent of sewer level combat would be known by TIK, the youtuber with the possibly greatest overall knowledge of Stalingrad.
