i head the AI say the same dumb lines every single time i start a game as the US and because the voice acting is just terrible i seriously cant understand what they’re even saying. in particular the lined where the " somethingsomething FORWARD!". it sounds like they’re saying “you didnt forward” which obviously isnt what they’re saying but thats what it sounds like. can someone please tell me what theyre actually saying lol
All I hear is “FOAWARD, FOFIWERE FAORWARD! FOAR FORARIWARD!!!”

Yup, early on I actually used to laugh at the voice acting but now I’ve just gotten used to it. The strangest thing to me is like they’re all pillaging pirates, just not going “Y’ARRRRR, ME MATEY! LET’S ME OFF TO GET SOME LOOT!” They’re excited, optimistic, HAPPY that shit is going down, which is ridiculous. Here’s some Allied quotes.
“GET SOME! GET SOME! GET SOME!”
(Isn’t that more Vietnam-era?)
“THAT’S RIGHT, YOU DIDN’T!”
(I guess proudly stating that their efforts to kill him had failed and he’s still alive?)
“HA-HA-HAAAA! YEAH!”
(Again, why so happy that the world is going to Hell and everyone is shooting/killing each other?)
“JUST STAY DOWN!”
(I think this happens when you wound an enemy without killing them and they just wish the enemy would stay down)
“I NEED COVER!”
(When you reload, this can happen, which is REALLY weird when you’re 150m+ from the front and delivering light mortar fire from a safe location…)
“COVER ME, RELOADING!”
“HAHAHA, ALRIGHT!”
“C’MON, HA-HA!”
(This is a happy sort of elbow-in-the-shoulder type of “c’mon,” as in it’s like one soldier saying to another, “Let’s go get a piece of the action!” Which, again, is ridiculous, because it’s war.)
I think there’s also one that goes along the lines of…
“LAST mistake you’ll ever make!”
and, of course…
“FORWAAAAAAARD!”
I have a feeling that both the character models, and the voice acting, were accessed at low cost or for free from somewhere online. I bought the game Hell Let Loose on Steam, and they use the EXACT same character faces.
