Political-economic reasons.
Internal or foriegn?
Internal, basically just decision of 2 politicians.
You can just read about it on Wikipedia
It could be much worse:
It could be between a clown with yellow/orange hair, on a power trip, that babble illogical things and is bound to bring his country to ruin in the mid term, and some very old sleepy guy that just needs rest…
The worst part is that this particular election is literally affecting the entire world. Meanwhile Czechoslovakia is completely irrelevant, about 16 million people in total i guess
(I’m not British)
But seriously friend, if you guys elect the clown, usa WILL tank down rather quickly
I know. It’s just the guy you were describing sounded very familiar to a certain Tory I know.
You do realize things only got bad until the King virus happened, right? The orange fellow didn’t lower the maximum age for child tax credit, the geezer did.
Oh, but things were starting to get bad even before that the virus thing is just a perfect scapegoat event.
Now I’m not saying sleepy is good. I’m just saying electing the clown thinking he will somehow save the country (he won’t, it will only help big corporations in the short term), will be an historic mistake, that will make USA take the role of Luigi, player #2.
Trust me, we elected a clown ourselves with no logic like the one you’re about to make the mistake of electing, and Canada burns
In short:
Don’t be shortsighted with only very short term things in mind. You guys got sooo much more to lose…
Found this on twitter
Actually, the history of the Fedorov is something: First, Vladimir Fedorov presented his rifle in 1911, but wasn’t taken, Then in 1913, he made the M1913 semi-auto, it was a fixed 5 rounds mags in either 7.62x54mmR or the 6.5mm Fedorov (his own cartridge). Then in 1915, he took his m1913 semi-auto and made it fully automatic and changed it’s caliber to 6.5mm Arisaka cuz Russia was making them and also they added the 25 rounds mags with barrel shortened to be like a carbine
the WW1 Fedorov M1916 chambered in 6.5x50mmArisaka
In WW1, the rifle where given to a company of the 189th Izmail Infantry Regiment in 1916 who have gotten 53 of the Fedorov rifles, of thoses 53, 8 of them where the M1916 Fedorov in 6.5mmArisaka and the rest was the M1913 Fedorov chambered in 7.62mm and some of thoses where given with a 15 round detachable magazine (that could be used with the Madsen MG) and converted to select fire. and 20 of the M1913 Fedorov got a sniper scope which means that it predates the AVS-36
The Fedorov M1913 with the 15 rounds mag (modification of 1915/1916)
But then Russian Empire collapse and only 100 of thoses rifles got made.
Then arrives 1919 and the Fedorov is rediscovered by Soviet Russia. So they decides to produce it and this is where the changes arrives. It got a cooling jacket and a Palm Rest
The Fedorov M1919 which isn’t the one in the game
There was a modernization of the rifle in 1923 because at the time, a magazine from one gun couldn’t be used with another Fedorov and only got 3 mag totals (it was supposed to be fired only in semi-auto because the barrel would overheat fast and it got reloaded with Arisaka Stripper clips) so they modernized the rifle in 1923 with a new mag and other things added
The Fedorov Avtomat M1923 EVERYONE thinks is the WW1 version
But in 1925, Russia decided to stop producing rifles firing foreign ammo which meant that it was the end of the production, in total 3,200 rifles where made between 1919 and 1925 and 1,118 rifles where upgraded to the M1923 standard
But Vladimir Fedorov wasn’t done and he decided to again show it’s rifle as the M1924 Fedorov in 7.62mmR but it lost to the AVS-36 and the SVT-38.
From 1921 to 1926, Vladimir Fedorov and Vasily Degtyaryov did testing to make a machine gun out of the Fedorov, with Maxim like water jacket and an Air cooling jacket and 50 rounds pan magazines
The Prototype with the Pan Magazine which actually became the predecessor of the DP-27
So Fedorov Avtomat got retired in 1928 and only in 1940 it was reissued when Soviet Russia was missing smgs.
