250 rounds would have been nice though, more accurate than the Stinger with their 200 round boxes which were purposefully never used irl on the Stinger. But yeah, I really hate people who (in general, even in other games) ask for the MG 42 to have a fire-rate at it’s highest historical, forgetting entierly that it was the anti-air configuration rather than the ground configuration that was actually used in combat.
I’d say the best middle ground would be a new MG nest for high-tier Axis to be a MG-42 in aircraft configuration, as the only way you’re carrying that ridiculous ammount of ammunition that will be expended is if you’re stationary. Or, event weapon I guess so you won’t get that many of them (like the Stinger, mentioned once more).
