Completely outclassed by the M4A3E2 Jumbo, unless you’re a British fan, there’s no reason to use it.
This is a Japanese Panzer IV H, it should stay at BR III.

I thought there would be more weapons? 2 guns, 2 tanks and a plane doesn’t seem like a major update to me, even with the other map changes, graphical upgrades and bugfixes put together.

This thing was just removed from WarThunder Japan TT this spring due to historical accuracy issues.

Not “historical accuracy issues”, bottom line integrity issues. The thing literally didn’t exist, in any form.

riders, apcs, fighters, bombers, bomber run bombers, infantry, rally points. because 6 12.5mm cannons is a ‘fair’ fight against 2 30mm and 2 20 mm canon
As far as I know, that model was made by postwar historians to illustrate the Ho-Ri design.
Well I never heard it can carry 100 kg bombs thouse in the picture looks like 50kg bombs.
The plane could carry 2x50 kg bombs or 250 kg bomb:
‘‘Mitsubishi Ki-83 fighter was capable of carrying a single 250 kg bomb on an external hardpoint’’
Well the easiest thing is to give its 250 kg bomb and leave it at BR IV or V since they won’t thinker better ground attacker. With 2 small bombs Its very hard to put it above BR III in ground attacker category. Mosquito is BR III with similar guns and payload…

On a more serious note, what’s is the point of Japan BR4 additions if it is a guaranteed uptier? Who would use tommy gun when hyde and t20 exists? Alas.

this is exactly what i warned against yesterday in my update analysis. every single of these vehicles is misplaced by 1 BR, the thompson only can be called an addition if its severely stronger than the already existing, almost identical br5 thompson (which requires giving it a high muzzle velocity, coming with HA issues) & the shotgun is not even worth the mention.
highly empty update so far, even emptier than the previous one.

not opposed to adding a 250 kg bomb am opposed to moving it to br3, thanks for adding the mosquito stat card far easier to judge for myself.

This is rather dissapointing for a ‘major’ update, only 5 items and they are only for two of the 4 factions, and the BRs of some of them are questionable. I get the focus of US vs Japan, but why couldn’t we have gotten a single thing for Germany and Russia in this update? Even just a ported vehichle for each faction from WT would have been nice.
