Well its US so its ok
It have what 6 rockets on each side for 12 rockets and a machine gun that rotate or what?
i just realize there is no BFW jagdpanther but then again idk how good that thing is so no loss i guess
Well its not that much and we can’t put it higher BR since I need my Apache attack helicopter for higher BRs. This one have 19 × FFAR Mighty Mouse rockets but im willing to nerf it to 7 × FFAR Mighty Mouse rockets on each side just to be BR III.
With the inclusion of these new aircraft, serious considerations should be made to alter the current rule and allow either 2 fighter or 2 attacker aircraft playable together.
Many players will no doubt want to try to these aircraft meaning some gamers will be stuck waiting for a turn.
The fear of double the rocket spam from tandem P-47s should be diminished with 2 enemy fighters in the air to contest.
This would also create more high quality dogfighting opportunities.
Chat is this real? Is this plane missing a bomb?
I really dislike the idea of a cold war jet being in the game. I’d rather no jets than this!
German TT jet gets one 500 kilo
German Premium gets one 50mm cannon
Allies TT gets two 1000lbs (basically 500 kilo), 4 20mm (I assume Hispanos)
Allies Premium gets two 1000lbs
Jap TT gets one 500 kilo, pair of 30mm
Soviet TT gets one 500 kilo, heavy cannons
anyway it was fun while it lasted. GG
I don’t understand why DF went ahead with jets in the current fishbowl environment.
Air trees could be further fleshed out with additional options without resorting to adding jets that confined to such a small airspace.
The Allies still don’t have Attacker Pilot 3s, nor a BR 5 fighter plane.
The Japanese are still stuck with carrier-based attacker planes with very limited ordnance.
The Soviets still have room for high BR CAS with higher speeds.
The Germans still have a large amount of leeway for possible loadouts with their twin-engine heavy fighter bombers.
Even if the rules for air maneuvers have changed to accomodate the faster jets through the increase of altitude and playable area restrictions, it would then severely affect the activity and contributions of pilots to their team, especially given their passivity.
…thats literally what they just got (su-9)…and the tu 2 last time, and the m 185 before that…how much high br CAS options does one need?..soviets currently have the most
Japan could do with some lower tier love in the plane department
Devs really must add Ki-100 BR III ,A6M5 BR III and move D4Y1 to BR III as soon as possible since BR III will be its own thing and Ki-43-II BR I they really must focus on this 3 planes and move B5N2 to BR I this will fix a lot of problems BR III and BR I and BR II by replacing 2 planes BRs and Adding 3 new planes to the game really this must be their top priority since Japanese faction is far far behind then the rest…
Or just add Ki-44-II Otsu to BR II as a stop gap measure while they make the rest of the planes.
The Soviets don’t have a high-speed CAS plane that fires rockets.
Your only viable CAS options are a 6x 250kg drop Tu-2S analogous to the German Ju 188 or the high-speed lower-yield I-185 that is already comparable to other factions’ fighters with a double drop load.
There’s still room for the Su-6 with the option to mount 10x 132mm rockets instead of the comparably anemic loadout of the IL-10’s 4 rockets and 2 bombs.
Just because a faction got something recently doesn’t mean they are complete.
Completeness is relative.
Not commenting because theres not plenty more to add, commenting because everybody is incomplete…less complete than the soviet BR 5 Air tree. Others need focus/their turn first
Yeah Japan BR I BR II and BR III planes must be main focus and they even have Ki-44-II Otsu in the editor…this plane will fix a lot of problems Japan has …I have no idea why they are not adding it.
Japan is the one tree i havent finished. Mainly because japan ground forces dont interest me (much) but i loooooooove their airforce and navy.
Saving playing them until the air tree gets their more interesting assets
Now I definitely know my knowledge of the WT soviet tech tree is outdated when this thing exists.
That’ll do.
I’m very very excited to try out the Kikka, even though it doesn’t have too many rounds between those two 30mm guns I still very much look forward to deleting enemy aircraft and bombers with them. Along with having a nice hefty 500kg bomb.
As for the ofenrohr I do wish Japan would be receiving a native design for a higher BR anti tank weapon.
As many have pointed out in this thread and before in prior suggestion posts, there’s 2 options that should be relatively easy (in terms of Japan) to implement.
A BR3 launcher the Type 4 9cm, which is just a higher calibre and larger version of the Type 4 7cm with a backwards tripod.
And a BR4 option being the Ji Te Dan rifle grenade for the Type 97 AT rifle. Functionally it’s just a Type 97 with blank rounds to propel a HEAT grenade. With an upward max performance estimated to be around 250mm of penetration.
As for this about such.
I do understand why it’s being added for the meantime, I do appreciate as someone who plays almost exclusively Japan, that we now have an option to deal with tanks with more ease at higher BRs. I’m pretty sure I even remember something along the lines of a contract between the Japanese and Germans for a couple Panzerschrecks. So thank you for at least giving us something to help; I’ll finally have a reason to reassign some of my soldiers in BR4 and up to have some AT soldiers instead of assaulters lol.
In saying this though, it would be peace of mind for myself and I’m certain many others that at the very least, the two aforementioned options of AT weapon have been at least forwarded to the developers for consideration thank you.
On a final note. I know the Su-9 development started prior to the end of WW2 and that the update main theme is jet fighters. But I think a rocket powered plane would have also been a good option instead, like the Bereznyak-Isayev BI-1.
Will console players be included in the test servers? or again be left out?
