truly small details, 10 more RPM? well dispersion is better on AS44, but STG can already snipe people full auto at 150 meters distance, factually you are right, but how about 0.1 seconds longer reload speed? isnt that an advantage the STG has over AS44 (PS, thats sarcasm, but should show how small the differences are)
Other options that were made before 1946:
Yak-7 Ramjet
Su-5 Ramjet
(Mig) I-250 Ramjet
La-5 Pulsejet
La-7 Pulsejet
Bi-2
Bi-6 (only prototype for aerotube testing was made, but hey guys, we have Ho-Ri which was only made in wood model, who cares?)
“302” (Best option, imo, 4 SHVAK, 2 125kg bombs… 900km/h speed…)
And, finally, I-15 Ramjet
And instead of any of these, Instead of prototypes, models, maybe with some enchancements in characteristics just for balance, devs chose Su-9… I’m sad.
Don’t really have an opinion on the Jets.
As for the Japanese getting an Ofenrohr, I think it would be better to replace the Ofenrohr in the US tech tree with the M20 Super Bazooka, and then giving the Japanese a captured M20 instead. It makes more sense for Japan to get a captured AT weapon from the US, than it does for them to get a German AT weapon that might have been purchased in small numbers for testing. (The M20 Super Bazooka being post-war does not matter now, we are getting a post war Soviet Jet)
As for the Federov, an experimental Semi-Automatic variant of the Mosin would have been a little more variety instead of getting another version of the Federov. But other than that nothing to say.
And finally for the new Soviet SMG, uptier the PPS-43 into BR 3 so players in BR 2 will actually pick this new SMG over the PPS-43.
These days I mostly only look forward to new map updates, but a couple of these new additions are nice.
Finally, the MG81!
The 1912 is relatively unoffensive, though it contributes toward br2 soviets becoming ever more homogenized.
The Northover projector should have been tied to an event squad.
I would have liked to see how Japan faired against the Ussr in a later patch, without a bunch of ofenrohr spam, oh well, no fun allowed.
The soviets didn’t NEED a jet lol, I’d enjoy playing them just fine without one, why are absolute parity players the only group catered to anymore…Divergent gameplay is FUN…
Christ the Meteor is hideous, no matter where I see it, I immediately need to bleach my eyes.
Yeah, its like Germans will have better tank and better plane, why long face, soviets, you dont need a jet.
Soviets get best of everything and so do USA
I love playing soviets, it’s perfectly ok for the axis faction to have better vehicles in a variety of categories, so long as soviets excel in other areas.
Soviet will need better AA because they are the only one with AA that have less than 10 rounds and a slow fire rate
ahem-ahem, machineguns, ahem-ahem, but yeah, I get it. I’d like to see some assymetric gameplay too, but…
Tank. Greyzone. Small map. Open field points. High-Explosive shell from respawn to the point… You know, no matter how good your guns, you just die of explosion.
I think they will add new AA variants for high-tier but in next updates… like… 1-2 updates later. I heard that models already exist in the game files.
I believe this to be a horrible decision, but I’ll wait and see how it turns out.
Horrible decision to make solid 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 and 4-5 battles? why?
…The development began in 1944, but it was only completed after the end of World War II.
Fictous planes in a fully fictious game. Makes sense to me
There were 8 (9 with funny biplane) candidates for a soviet jet/prop-jet (at least, I remember there were more, but I can’t find them). But they chose the one that is production-ready and easy to implement. Its made in the warthunder.
Of course there are more! I forgot about bombers.
Behold! Pe-2 with liquid rocket engine!
1943, btw, did 100 flights at least.
I know that this is a recoilless gun but holy sh*t that looks like something you’d find on a Spanish galleon.
How dare you shit talk the Meteor, woe be upon you
Wait, why do you think that? In no world should BR 5 ne facing BR 3.
Just asking did Japan Will also get their own ampulomet?
Do you have any in mind?
I mean, I tried to find any and failed.
I found some variants for germany, btw, I think its better to change german ampulomet to italian pneumatic grenade launcher:
