Weapons and vehicles of the "Jet Power" update

This is LONG overdue, but I will believe it when I see it. I remember quite a long time ago we were told DF was working on letting players pick their own maps and battles as well, but we’re still waiting. I’ve learned not to be optimistic about these things till they actually materialize in the game.

Nothing no planes at br3 that are usable

Not the panzerschrecks it was the panzerfust of which data and plans were supplied to Japan. It wasn’t adopted directly instead the Type 4 rocket launcher was developed inspired by Allies bazooka.

No Im sure it was panzerschrecks without shield, though I have to find the source until then I can only say I remember it that way

The best I can say to this is that we are Community Managers - that means we’re not developers and not game designers.

We do not have the final say on lots that is added to the game - and often for good reason. For example, I’m sure there’s something I want in the game that you don’t want, similar to everyone on the forum/Reddit/Discord/other platforms with each other. It’s only natural.

The vast majority of things I can say, but of course, as working for any company, divulging the inner workings of your company isn’t exactly something that is done, and therefore not everything can be said. A lot of CM work is done behind the scenes (which sounds counterintuitive to the job position for right now, but especially over the last few weeks this has been the case and you can guess this is in response to player expectations and feedback, all things which will be a bit more obvious over time).

I understand this still sounds vague, but honesty and transparency is something we (all reading this) and I do want for the game, it just isn’t as easy as “just say it”! I know this answer won’t satisfy everyone but at least it’s something, and more things will be happening in future, which is always the case and is always what I do say, but it is true.

I have a feeling everyone is using Ofenrohr just for the gasmasks, nice that Japan gets them as well. Katsu Kato will look like Shredder with it

So, gentlemen. What we have got now:
Jet planes have been added to everyone. Yeah, Su-9 over Berlin, “historically”
Germans have added a light heavy machine gun
I told you there would be a Fedorov rifle.
Lol, 3 factions in the game already have an ofenror,
Ampoulomet for the Americans. That’s good
PP Berezina - it’s not entirely clear why, but let it be.

I think the Soviet Union must have captured them as well. So why weren’t they added to the Soviet Union’s technology tree?

Will we have the opportunity to obtain that Kindjal bayonet from Fedorov as a knife please?

Which will be significally worse than what soviets are getting based on the stats they revealed. Unless they give it horrible recoil/dispersion i bet it will become balance issue

As everybody gets Ofenrohr, it would be fair to give Germany Panzerschrek, at last.
Also, BR 6 for late-late war stuff.
And separate Italian plus British tech trees, even without being full I-V scale.
And better IT-weapons!!!

Anyway, just… anyway, I’m relieved to know that Enlisted hasn’t been completely abandoned and that there’s still intent to create new content. Sure, there are plenty of historically quirky bits, like the Japanese using the Ofenrohr, which reminds me of Battlefield 1942, but being able to use oddball weapons like the Northover Projector—stuff I’ve only ever seen in old obscure weapons books—is honestly pretty cool

Post war.

mixed power.

rocket plane.

mixed power.

Comrades, I think we are entering a new Era. Developers for the first time officially added post-war to the tech tree. Now the Soviet faction will be able to demand an IS-3, T 44 100 and so on. The argument about post-war weapons and equipment no longer works, as we can see in the example of the SU-9.
We can say that HISTORICITY is OFFICIALLY DEAD. They added a post war plane
But I hope ours game doesn’t slip into Call of Duty Vanguard after all.

Most of it is some very nice stuff.
But the panzerschreck for Japan is a bit of a bruh moment for me.
The rest is fine by me.

Adding the M9 Bazzoka would have been a better start.

All of this could have been avoided if the M20 Bazooka was added to the US tech tree, I’m fine with post-war weaponry within reason (and some people should really just stop with the whining on this front), essentially you should be asking yourselves “what if the war had lasted another year” and then add those vehicles and weaponry to the game. Japan should really have access to captured US AT weaponry.

I abhore the idea of Japan getting anything late-war German, they’d have no way to recieve them or manufacture them. It was a shot in the foot to give the US a panzerschreck, it’s even more of a mistake to then also give them to Japan! There are objectively better ways to handle the balance problem that don’t invovle giving weapons to countries that never had them!
